We bought this jacket for our GSP to use in the boat in case she fell in and needed to get pulled back into the boat. She is around 60 lbs and very, very active. First use, she fell in and we easily hauled her back in. She also took a swim at shore and it allowed her to move easily. The jacket didn't seem to bother her at all which is great because she usually tries to squirm out of anything that she doesn't like. Easy to put on, fits well

This jacket really did what I had hoped it would do. I like the construction of it. A wide Velcro band that fits under the belly allows for a nice snug fit that is easily adjustable. I was also able to lift her out of the water by the handle without it coming apart. I have a golden retriever that is afraid of the water (don't ask!) and I put this on her for doggie day at the pool. She loved it. She swam and played and had the best time ever! (I've got plenty of video to prove it!) I also got one for our senior dog and he loved it. He could play and swim at his leisure without getting over exerted.

I was a little unsure if my dog would like wearing this and it didn't seem to bother her at all! The fit was perfect and is if high quality. I highly recommend!!!!

I bought this for my boyfriend's dog because she is always going fishing with us and he'd been putting her in a human life jacket on the boat haha. It arrived way sooner then they said it would and he just loves it!!! They put a lot of thought into the design of this product. It fits Ellie great and leaves her with lots of freedom to move around the way she wants too, and she is one hyper active doggie hehe. The price for the product and product shipping were great!!! I would recommend anybody looking for a dog life jacket buy this one!!!

My dog LOVES to swim and often won't get out of the pool until he's exhausted so we prefer he wears a life jacket. His old one lasted 3 years but it was time for a new one. I really liked this one as it has strong velcro and feels sturdy, but he wore this for not even 4 hours and the stitching is already coming undone. There is no damage to the life jacket itself, so it must just be the movement of him swimming that loosened the stitching? I'm pretty disappointed as I thought this life jacket was a winner. If the jacket was double-stitched this likely wouldn't be this issue. I am curious as to if I just got a defective item or if this is a recurring issue.

I have two English bulldogs, about 50 pounds each. Switched to this brand this year because they outgrew their last ones. We take them kayaking, and allow them to float around in the pool. They do not complain about wearing them and are eager when they see the life jackets. What I like most is how the neck strap slides into a pocket in the jacket and the manufacturer gives plenty of belly strap (as well as Velcro to keep it in place). They are very boyant when they fall into the water and easily stay afloat. The price is amazing for this quality! I bought size large because of their neck size.

Dogs don’t love them but they work very well, all 3 dogs vary between 45-55lbs. Handles feel a little weak, wouldn’t recommend using them to pick the dog up out of the water but more for a guide or way to lead them to get out.
