Really disappointed with this bottle. I bought it as an attempt to get away from plastic for my daughter who plays sports and needs a good bottle that can keep her water cold. We received it promptly and the bottle itself looks great and kept liquids fairly cold. However, this morning I noticed a bit of rust around the outside of the mouth piece (where the cap screws on) .. I didn't think it was a big deal as I would just scrape it off. It doesn't come into any contact with the actual water. However, I then decided I might as well look inside and sure enough, there are 4-5 rust stains inside the bottle itself. I was beyond disappointed. I immediately logged on to see if I could exchange or return but my return date has passed by about 2 weeks. I realize this is not a brand new bottle but it should not be rusting after less than 2 months of use. I wash and fully dry this regularly. I guess I will have to keep searching for a great bottle somewhere else.

Changing my original review on this water bottle. This is the 2nd Fresh Taste water bottle I have purchased. I bought this one as a backup since I was so happy with my first purchase. The blue water bottle I originally purchased is fantastic. Ice lasts for hours in it. I can drink cold water all night, since I keep it at my bedside. It still has ice in it in the morning, which would last all morning even if I didn't refill it. I expected the same from this one. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The ice melts overnight in the red water bottle, so in the morning the water is not cold. The entire body of the water bottle sweats. I don't know if this one is defective, or if the first one I received was not the norm.

We prefer our drinks hot hot or cold cold. This is our cold cold drink bottle. Ice will keep overnight in it (not perfectly of course, but it's not a freezer). I was leery at first of the straw - prefer not to mess with a straw - but this container has proven to be reliable and leak proof and not so much of a hassle to keep clean with a straw brush. The built in handle is nice - I've had to attach straps to others I've purchased in the past. The logo wore off after the first few weeks. Since I carry this almost everywhere, it's regularly scratched and bumped - so it has some battle scars where the blue paint has been marred. We didn't buy it for its looks so that's ok, but should be noted. I dropped it on concrete the other day - on the weakest place possible - the straw spout. It's fine, actually, the lip used to open and close the straw was chipped, but the function wasn't affected. So, poor thing is scratched and scarred and one day, I'll buy another, but since it still functions exactly as it's supposed to and since I'll be just as brutal on the next one, I have no real excuse to buy another, yet.

This is a great bottle for keeping your fluids at just the right temperature, and you can take it anywhere! I love that the straw allows you to drink all the liquid to the very bottom without having to tip your head with the bottle in front of your face, this helps especially when driving! Thanks I have already bought another bottle!

Exactly as described and arrived quickly. I'm using it today for the fifth day in a row - no leaks, and keeps my tea warm for several hours. I'm a very happy customer. I love the color, I like the shape - it's comfortable in my hand. However - i would like a softer mouth piece. This one is just hard plastic, but that is probably more sanitary than the soft one I prefer. It doesn't change my overall opinion of the bottle - I love it.Edit - I dropped this at least 4 times from the roof of my car onto concrete and gravel. It still didn't leak. So when I left it on top of my car and it fell the fifth time, right on the plastic and that broke - I bought the same bottle again. After months of using it at least 5 days a week, it never leaked. I'm a happy customer.

THE BEST water bottle, while it lasts. I've owned MANY of these water bottles. I love the loop for a handle and the pop-out spout with a straw - so no need for tipping to drink. The little rubber stopper, that is in the pop-out spout and seals the bottle's air vent when the spout is closed, can be easily popped out and lost - so be careful or you will lose this rubber stopper and then have to hold your finger over the hole when drinking from the straw. Over the years, I've had SEVERAL bottles just stop working. And by that, I mean cold fluids ALMOST seem to heat up - what would last over a day with ice still in it would be very warm after 8 hours. We finally determined that these water bottles "stopped working" after they were left in a hot car. It took several failed bottles to figure out what broke the vacuum seal internally - there was no visible sign of damage, although some of the failed bottles had a tiny rattle when shook - like something was loose in between the two layers of SS. SO, if you are careful and don't ever leave the bottle in a hot place, this is a GREAT bottle to keep drinks cold for easily a day.

I love this bottle. It keeps my water ice cold for a long time and my coffee warm for a while. I loved this bottle so much I bought a red one as well! We've tried so many different stainless steel bottles and nothing compares to this one. My son dropped the bottle on the road causing a crack in the lid. When I contacted the seller asking about purchasing just a lid for the bottle, they said they would ship me one for free! This is such a nice surprise, definitely great customer service.

I hike quite often and this is the best water bottle I've found for keeping drinks cold. If filled and refrigerated overnight, my drink will stay cold for at least 12 hours in 85°F weather. No metallic taste, either!The straw is fantastic, and I don't have to tilt my head back to get the last drops. The only time it leaked is when I failed to close the cap all the way.Each bottle comes with a straw cleaner. I love this water bottle so much I've bought two more and carry them faithfully on every hike. I've dropped them on rocky trails and not even a dent! Some of the paint came off, but no big deal.
