Samsung RS68N8230B1 617L Silver Fridge Freezer, Spacemax Technology [Energy Class A+]

After research we decided on this model amongst the multitude. Did not really want a smart fridge but one that included the ice maker etc. This is a BIG fridge and required to be brought through back patio doors as would not fit through a normal size door. Both compartments are excellent at maintaining temperature and despite what other reviews have said the noise it makes is not obtrusive. Vegetables and fruit kept in the fridge stay fresher a lot longer than previous fridge and well beyond their shelf life date. The only criticism is have to be careful with the 2 salad drawers and make sure only open one at a time as otherwise they can jam.

Freezer is excellent and came out top in a Which review. It is BIG though and you will struggle to get it through a standard door, but luckily it's fairly easy to remove both the fridge and freezer doors which reduces the depth dimension significantly. You will need two people to do this, and the instructions are in the supplied manual. Thought I'd post this to stop anyone else experiencing the stress of having a £1200 appliance sitting outside with storm clouds on the way!

Looks fab in our new kitchen. Loads of room inside fridge and ample room in freezer. Very quiet. Extremely happy with our purchase.

We love the fridge freezer, had it for 10 months when it stopped working.Samsung took over three weeks to send us an engineer, and he has now condemned it as the compressor has gone.Now awaiting the next stage to get a replacement. so people be wary.NOTE: no issues with actual seller.
