I have purchased this product in other containers several times over the years, because the family enjoys the taste of this flavored salt on our popcorn. I decided this tine to order the decorative glass jar and that was a big mistake. As you can see in the picture above, the bottle opened in transport and the content spilled out into the cardboard box. Sadly, for whatever reason, even though the item was delivered today, Amazon will not let me return it for a refund. Since the salt is under $10, I just chalked it up to experience and re-ordered the 6 oz. plastic container. Perhaps the tops of the containers could be sealed with shrink wrap, so that the caps cannot unscrew during transport. Once received intact, you will enjoy the taste of this flavored salt!

This is close to movie popcorn salt taste for me. Use sparingly because it’s salty, but I love salt.

This Amish Country Ballpark ButterSalt is absolutely amazing! The flavor is so rich and buttery, I found myself using way less actual butter on my popcorn. Just a sprinkle goes a long way, and it gives that perfect movie theater taste at home. Love that it’s non-GMO and gluten-free, too. This little jar packs a punch, definitely a new staple for movie nights!!

This butter-flavored popcorn salt is very finely ground so that it sticks to each kernel nicely. The buttery flavor is quite tasty as well. I would have given this product a 5 star rating, but the receptacle in which the salt is contained is inconvenient. It is in the form of a glass, mini- mason jar shaker with a little handle. It includes a plastic screw- on top with holes in it for shaking out the salt. The problem is that there is no way to close off the holes from exposure to humidity in the air which would cause the contents of the shaker jar to get clumpy or harden. There is a protective insert that fits inside the plastic screw top. THIS SHOULD NOT BE DISCARDED (and there is no instruction provided with the product advising you to safeguard this vital insert)!!! You will need it so that it can be reinserted into the screw-top lid in order to fully close off the contents of the jar to protect against humidity/hardening. It would be great if there were some sort of sliding mechanism which could be turned to open the holes, then close them shut again. The absence of such an opening/closing mechanism is this product's only flaw. Were it not for this flaw, the product would be perfect!
