While this after-market cargo cover provides more coverage of the rear cargo area than the OEM cover (which doesn't completely cover the space right behind the back seats), this cover does not fit very well. When put in place, the vinyl does not lay flat and it bunches up from side to side. It appears to be cut a little too large. It's also made of material that isn't as sturdy as the OEM cover. I ordered the correct cover for my 2016 4Runner and contacted the seller to show them these photos but they didn't offer any advice. So I've attached photos so you can see for yourself it it's worth ordering for your SUV.

This product is exactly what is shown in the product photos, HOWEVER, there is a metal rod that runs the length where the "gap" flap attaches to the rear headrest. The metal rod does not have any protective ends and as a result the rear side panels of my new vehicle are scratched. Not bad, but two simple little rubber or plastic ends would have stopped this from happening. We also own a Rav4 and that cover has clips that clip around the headrest supports .. a much better design by far.The vehicle design is also flawed in that once full extended, the cover does not go all the way to the rear of the vehicle so you can still see under the cover. This is not this manufacturers fault, its a vehicle design issue.

Good fit and installed in less than five minutes. Loops attach to 2nd row seats and covers most of back. Still a small gap in the rear by the hatch but that was due to a design by Toyota, and it's not really easy to see inside on the back, especially with tinted windows. I think the factory cover would not have the rear seat attachment and this would leave a more noticeable gap unless you reclined the seats. Arrived on time.

Needed a cargo cover for my Toyota 4Runner to keep valuables in the truck safe from prying eyes and to product objects from flying out of the cargo area when driving with the rear window down. This cover fits and works perfectly. It even has an extension with straps that wraps and hooks around the rear seat headrest arms in order to cover the cargo area completely.

I am using this in my 2018 4Runner. It was VERY easy to install. The reel pulls and retracts easily and smooth. The material is nice and well made.My one complaint is the attachment to the rear seat. My product has the clasps that go around the rear headrests, which I feel makes it look a bit cheap (the only part of it, because the rest is great) and does not flush up against the seats in a clean fashion. If I could make a change where it fit into a groove or had a built in latch (like the car seats), I feel it would really take it to higher quality and presentation.

We received our cargo cover much sooner than expected, thank you very much, & it fits perfectly. I like having the option of keeping our cargo covered & out of sight in the vehicle, plus, things stay cooler back there with the cargo cover. We don't bother with the straps around the headrests, there's such a small gap that it doesn't really matter. The cargo cover doesn't sit flat when it's strapped to the headrests so we prefer it to have that very small gap behind the seats.

I have a 2018 SR5 4Runner (2 row seating) and it fits perfectly. I am only giving a 4 star review because it had some scratches on it when I took it out of the box.

I bought this for my 2012 Toyota 4Runner SR5.The description claims perfect fit. There is about a 2" gap along the sides and about a 6" gap along the rear hatch door, but when I look through the stock tinted windows it is virtually impossible to see anything in the rear of the vehicle, even in broad daylight. You really can't even see the Cargo cover.The no gap feature between the back seats is a nice upgrade and is a very tight fit with no gaps and it is designed to allow the back seats to be placed in their fully reclined position. The bar that allows the cover to retract affords about 17" of clearance to the bed.The whole system can be removed and installed in about a minute for larger loads.
