These are the perfect combat boot. The material is soft, but sturdy. Worth the $! Not too tight on ankle. Don't need to break them in. The only con is that my pair of leggings rode up due to rubbing against boots. The leggings were loose though, I think if they were tighter it wouldn't have been a problem. Def recommend!

I really love them! They are pretty and comfortable enough for a long walk.

They are great quality, comfortable but a little narrow for people with wider feet you have to loosen the shoe laces a lot everything else is good!

I received the Aldo “Goer” Combat Boots in black. I am usually a size 8.5 and that is what I ordered and they fit perfectly. I have a little extra room in the toe box so I can wear a heavier sock if I want. The width is not too tight and doesn’t pinch the sides of my feet at all. Based on this, I would say these boots are true to size and do not run small. I have worn these for 8 hours at a time and didn’t experience any discomfort or blisters. The foot bed also has a slight cushioning feeling to them and that definitely helped with my comfort. Since these are a combat style boot, I had a little less mobility in my ankle area, but nothing that hurt or was uncomfortable. I absolutely love the style of the boot. The heel is roughly 1.5 inches tall which is the perfect height for daily wear. The black is a matte black (not shiny) and even though it is vegan leather, it feels very nice and luxiourous and you would not be able to tell it is fake leather just by looking at them. Putting these boots on and off is easy: there is a side zipper along with laces and there is a pull tab on the back/top of the boot to make it easier to pull on. This style of boot can easily be worn with various outfits and they look very classy and should hold up for many years to come. Aldo is a very reputable brand and I highly recommend these boots!

I ordered these boots in mid Jan, 2024 and it is now the start April 2024 and my boots are falling apart. The right heal is busted and the left is cracking too. After reading many reviews on cheaper options available on Amazon I decided to splurge and get the Aldo brand. They are comfortable, rain proof and therefore became my favorite pair of shoes. I don't run or walk around all day at work so I expected more than a little over 2 months of wear. I have some payless boots that I've had for years with heals in better condition. Of course the refund window has closed and I have just gotten the run around with Amazon. So save your money and buy some cheap boots from elsewhere.

The description says “ Made of quality leather materials” but the shoes are made of some kind of fake and very smelly material. Not leather. I purchased these boots long time ago from Aldo directly and it was the same style but a genuine leather. Loved the boots and once they were worn out I wanted to get exactly the same - well, these are not the case. If you prefer leather, this is not the boots. If you’re ok with faux, it’s a decent boot.

Wear tall socks or these will cut into your skin!! So uncomfortable! Maybe I just need to break them in, but they're a bit too tight and narrow and I find them hard to wear compared to other similar boots I have owned at half the price.
