Will it fit 3m xlr8 hard hats?

It should but your welding mask will get caught on the raised part of the hard hat when you go to flip your hood up and will probably feel really heavy on your head and neck will get sore. Company I work for gives the welders and iron workers carbon fiber helmets that don't feel as heavy and your welding helmet won't get caught on your hat and it works pretty well. I'd recommend something like the MSA 454617
