Great WlFl strip! I use a powerful laptop basically as my sudo cable box for viewing tv programs, movies, videos, etc. on my TV through HDMI wire and chrome cast. Sometimes l doze off/fall asleep or l get busy and leave the room to do things l need to do and l hate coming back and seeing that l forgot that the battery was running low and l didn’t have the laptop plugged in so the laptop shuts off - now l have the perfect solution.This strip has a timer on it and you can control it via the app on your phone or tablet. What l personally do is have the timer turn the tablet on to power up the battery and keep the laptop on. I have it perfectly timed so the laptop never gets too low to where it automatically shuts off. I also have it timed so that it never overcharges the laptop either. I haven’t had to manually plug in or unplug my laptop since I’ve owned this strip. When I’m not using my laptop l can easily turn off the schedule I’ve set up on my phone app.This strip has so many positive attributes and l own that these things had been invented 2O years ago.I have other TECKIN products. I have the single solo plugs and l use one of them for my portable air conditioner in my bedroom so that when l need the room really cool l can turn it on from my phone and before l go up to my room l turn it on so when l go up there to shower it’s so nice and cold because l have it on.I have multiple non-apple charging wires for all 4 tablets and my 2 phones and the aftermarket wires work perfectly fine not only with the cube charger plugs but the four USB plugs also work without saying “device not comparable” or “this wire not compatible” or whatever it says when the wires aren’t from apple. I bought a different strip before this one and every time l tried using aftermarket wires it always told me l couldn’t use them and it wouldn’t charge the device the way it’s supposed to - TECKIN works with aftermarket wires perfectly fine.I don’t have to constantly plug in and unplug the cubes or USB wires because l just turn each individual plug on/off when l need it.If anyone asked if they should spend the extra money on a WlFl strip l would say yes, absolutely you should.

This review is based on my usage of the product and is not biased by the free product!The power strip looks pretty slick compared to a standard one you would buy from a hardware store. The instructions in the box to integrate with the app appear to be slightly outdated but are relatively easy to figure out. The smart power strip works well. Each of the 4 socket, and the 4 USB ports (collectively) can be controlled separately using the SmartLife app (Tested with Android Pie on a Pixel2). SmartLife integrates very well with Google Home. The Home Control tab in Google Home picked up the power strip immediately and all sockets (4 + the USBs) can be controlled individually using voice commands. Each outlet can be renamed for convenience as well.Overall the product is great and is useful for controlling floor lamps, chargers and other short-use electronics from the comfort of your couch.

Wow! What a cool power strip. When I learned about this power strip I was really excited to get it for my apartment, and it didn’t disappoint.When you think of a power strip you typically think of turning a single plug into multiple plugs, which is nice. However, this power strip goes so much further than that. Obviously the first thing that sticks out is that it can be turned on and off via WiFi, which in of itself is great, but that isn’t even the best feature. The best feature is that each of the outlets can be controllled individually so if for example you have two lights plugged into the strip you can independently control them on/off via the app! Lastly, each of the sockets can also have its own schedule so you can automate multiple lights or appliances from a single strip.TLDR: the Teckin power strip is an easy product to give 5-stars to. Whether you’re a home automation veteran or just need a high quality power strip the Teckin Power strip is a solid choice at an affordable price.

This is great for controlling multiple devices in the same area. I have two Christmas trees, a printer, and a tower fan connected. They're rarely all on at the same time.Now I actually schedule for them to come on and off. The printer stays on. I primarily wanted to make sure I wouldn't accidentally leave the fan on, since I like to host and guests could be stuck sitting there. I additionally like being able to turn the trees off during the daytime and automatically turn them back on in the evening.Combined with my other individual smart plugs and outlet switches, with everything connected to Alexa, my house definitely feels more like an actual smart home.I plan to add one of these in my office and in my guest room to finally have nearly every light and device in my house controlled by Alexa. It's great to have voice control but it's also comforting to be able to make sure certain devices and lights are turned off.

This is a great product. It does everything they said it would. I have purchased Teckin products before (Smart Plug Mini Outlets), they have all worked flawlessly and so does the new Smart Power Strip. The new Android app "Smart Life" is easy to setup and use. I am using the Mini Outlets in my bedrooms for night stand lights. Even though we dont use the spare bedroom, the night stand lights going on and off on a schedule give the appearance of someone being home. The new Smart Power Strip is in my family room. I have connected the (3) family room lamps, my weather station display and my USB phone charger. The lights, weather station display and USB phone charger are all on schedules and all the items are connected through Alexa Skills so I can just tell Alexa to turn them on and off. What a convenience to just tell Alexa to turn the family room lights off at bedtime and not have to go to each light and flip the switch. Living in Arizona, we do get regular lighting storms and the built in surge protection is a plus.
