Ibanez Guitar Pedal Tube Screamer MINI Overdrive TSMINI

There in't much i can say about the Tube Screamer that hasn't been said already, so I'll stick to sharing my personal experience and how I use this pedal. Where this has helped me the most, is to cut through a mix while playing with others or while improvising solos over a backing track. In order to achieve that, I keep the drive at minimum and tone at maximum. I set the volume to unity gain. The other useful application is to get a classic, edge-of-breakup blues tone. For this, I roll-back the tone to around 3 o'clock and set the drive at 9 o'clock. This also pairs well with all of my other pedals - drives, silicon fuzz, uni-vibe and chorus.

As per you tube reviews it is supposed to be good, and boy this is good. Playing it with my marshall amp and i can that bluesy classic rock tone. Love it.

You will realize why the TS is a legendary benchmark in distortion pedals when you plug this in for the first time. You will be comfortable using this as your primary deive for generes ranging from blues to classic heavy metal. However, for gain-hungry modern generes, the TS does not suffice on its own.Having said that, use this to boost the OD/distotrion channel of any decent amplifier or any good distortion/overdrive stompbox, and you'll realize why this is called the tubeSCREAMER! If your needs meet the criteria Ive specified, buy this without a doubt! Moreover, at the time I got this, Amazon was offering this at the best price available. Hope this helps! Happy shredding!
