I'd like to know the difference between eveready aa and this amazon basics aa battery, coz the price difference. can anyone explain? thanks.

A normal Eveready batteries are not alkaline based batteries. Whereas these are alkaline batteries that last at least 10 more than the normal batteries.

Does it work for camera

I think it should, as this too is like other AA batteries. It works for all other products.

Is the bottom of the battery expected to bulge / bump out just a bit after charging them using the chargers available on sale here in Amazon-India?

These are not rechargeable. Do not attempt to charge them

Corrosion build up???

The product was excellent for long but recently I have experienced...what I think is a corrosion build up on +ve or -ve points. The life span seems cut short by a good 40% even when the batteries carry charge . On rubbing the batteries a bit against the connecting points of the device they continue again to transfer charges . I am sure most of the customers must be disposing them off with charges. P.S. Quality control @ Amazon should check the corrosion reason (Metal used in top and bottom) apart from checking the volume of charge. Longlife was the recalling factor for this product apart from competitive pricing . P.S.2 The only beneficiary in the short term is the supplier because of higher turn around.
