Yes, these are light and breathable. They would be good as a base layer to avoid biting wind; however, they are thin and are no substitute for earmuffs or a knit hat.

Can you sleep with it on?

The flower printed ones stay in place while sleeping, the tie dye ones don’t stay in place ever due to the silky material!!

Is the headband adjustable to fit?

Hi there is some stretch to the headband so it can adjust to different head sizes...but there is no 'adjusters' on the headband
