Amiga Classix 5

A fan of the Amiga, when moving to the Mac after having had enough with Windows, I was overjoyed to see a Mac version of the emulator...Oops. I could have downloaded the same executables off the internet and used my existing Cloanto license instead.This CD set is better aimed at Windows users. The Mac version's instructions (the English version) don't tally with what's on the CD-ROM, never mind the installer also has a DVD option...Once installed, where to point for the MaxUAE file is impossible as there is no MaxUAE executable.[...] (which is also specified in the documentation) links to files dated 2007. The files on this disc are dated 2004.It's got a few games that Cloanto Amiga Forever doesn't seem to have, but Mac users are better off going with Cloanto and downloading the rcdrummond port of E-UAE.And your mileage may vary even after installing that. A shame it's not been continued since 2007, but I'm going to give it a try...

Obviously I grew up playing the old Atari, Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 systems. I was amazed to find this CD-ROM and had to buy it. 200 original games, in full.
