This book is a nice combination of basic photography information and information about how the Canon Rebel T5i works. Both types of information were what I needed to enjoy the new camera my wife gave me as a gift to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The manual that came with the camera was hard for me to see because of its small print and difficult to understand because some of the explanations were vague or overly brief. This book solved both those issues for me. Great camera. Buy the book and carry it in your camera bag.

good book, just cheaply made and the pages fall out easily.

A little disappointed in overall size of book and therefore font size but suppose that is why it is called a field guide. Just wish I did not have to put on magnifying glasses to read it. (I have 20 - 20 vision except up close)
