Wooden Acorns Counting & Sorting Kit - Unfinished Wood Set of 20 Acorns and 6 Bowls - Made in The USA

I got these for my two-year old nephew and painted them with non-toxic paint for a fun fall sorting game. Both the bowls and the acorns are good-quality and looked gorgeous with a little paint. My nephew is delighted with them, and it’s a fun, easy project for anyone with a toddler or preschooler :) I will say the bowls are a little smaller than I thought they’d be, but four acorns do fit (I just did three each in four colors so it would be more developmentally appropriate).

I bought this set for my nearly 18 month old, and painted them. These have been such a lovely addition to our day. All of my kiddos love them, not just the toddler, and they get used in a variety of ways (in the play kitchen, to sort, to count, to move from one container to another with a spoon, to stack). Would 100% recommend, even though you can see one of the bowls has a pretty obvious knot. I did have to sand the bowls a little, but the acorns were silky smooth. For a softer look I painted them with watered down non-toxic acrylic and sealed them with some beeswax mixture.

Beautiful quality, smooth as glass finish on the acorns. I did have to lightly sand the lips of the bowls, but they were also lovely. The perfect blanks for a sorting DIY. Would absolutely recommend and buy again.

Super cute and good quality. Small, so perfect for little hands! Painted them to help my son learn his colors and numbers!

Seems well made. Nice set of bowls and acorns for sorting, counting etc. suitable for three and up. The size of the bowls is a little smaller than I expected, but 3 acorns fit nicely into each bowl.

These are so fun great for counting sorting small world play diys you name it will probably be purchasing more for a gift I don’t recommend for under 2 as they are on the small side & could pose as a choking hazard But great for older littles

I did a water color stain on these for my daughters to practice basic math skills with. They love them! Definitely be aware these are a little small for kids under age 3/4. All around a beautiful product

Great set of wooden toys for toddlers. The acorns and bowls were smaller than I imagined so I’d definitely watch your child(ren) while they play with this set. The wood received acrylic paint well and hasn’t chipped from the typical rough play of a toddler. I’d recommend sanding a little bit before painting as there some uneven surface but if you paint 3 coats of acrylic paint it’ll help patch the rough spots.
