What a hip take on Hindu Mythology!!
All the deities, demigods, planets and other mythical characters - like the Holy Cow, that any person practising Hinduism is usually well versed (as in my case, there were a lot of characters I was introduced to for the first time in this book) are all depicted with such colourful and fun illustrations.The write-ups for the deities are simple and easy-to-understand and must be such a fun way to introduce Indian Mythology to children.My personal favourite has got to be the write up about Saraswati.I think it makes a wonderful gift for kids, though in my case I purchased a copy for myself. I just couldn't resist the eye-catching artwork and the hip writing.Purchased in January 2014.

A great fun read. It shows the Hindu Dieties in fun and light mood. Read it and enjoy it.

A must have book for children to learn about Hinduism
This book is our daily read one page for learning about Hindu deities including nine planets according to Hindu religion, Holy animals etc.This book not only answer some of the WHY? asked from children's but also add much value to the answers. Pictures are vibrant and colorful to gain attention. We read this book to our 3 year old who is interested in Hindu Lord and Goddess her mother pray daily. It help us a lot to introduce her our religion step by step.I coordinate other books for the explained stories like OM Kidz book and book by author Bhakti Mathur.

What a Fabulous creation - Awesome is the word. This is a must have book in every Family. A Kudos to Sanjay Patel for showcasing this in his unique style

Good book.
Book is nice with good information and good illustrations. But, the book is somewhat small.

Good buy anyway
Book is good.. print is nice and pictures are colorful. pretty much suitable for 6- 12 year kids.. bought for my 2 year old but the pages are not toddler friendly... and it will be an advantage if it's hardbound
