This book is not for beginners. Concepts are in depth. Very good for advanced users.

This book contains too many concepts you don't require as an Indian student in cse. But will be a great help if you get stuck in searching- How new concepts are related to old ones. I am currently using it in the 3rd sem for DBMS. It's too much --> you won't be able to read this whole book. But I guarantee that after completing this book you will never search Google to find any concept related to DBMS.

This book has everything about dbms, theory is clearly explained, it is perfect academic book for first year computer science students.issues with sql syntax:I found that in most of places sql syntax is not updated or wrong with respect to present sql standardsI facing issue with this and which made me to look again and again on stackoverflow,mysql documentation page.please update syntax to present standard.EXAMPLES:In Mysql assertions are not accepting, syntax of triggers is changed, syntax of insert statement in some places is wrong.
