8 Inch Non-stick Titanium Softgrip Scissors

Great light-weight scissors - scotch tape does not stick to them, good and sharp with a little less angle in the honing bevel as their standard model. These have the straighter office type lower blade with the lower blade axis centered on the finger grip. The upper blade has a steeper near 45 degree angle to the ginger grip. Also good for the kitchen and running through the dish washer - not so heavy as kitchen scissors. Almost identical design as the 8" Singer Non-Stick Titanium, purchased one of each to see if either might be better, even score thus far I would say.

I was looking for a GOOD pair of scissors that will actually cut thin paper cleanly and cut all the way to the tip. Like everyone, I have used a zillion worthless scissors which get all gummed up from cutting through tape and such that they no longer cut paper; very frustrating!!! Have to clean the crud off the blades with alcohol, and they still dont cut well!! These Fiskars scissors are my answer. They cut even tissue paper neatly over the whole lenght of the scissor blade to the tip. I recommend these scissors, and Amazon had the best price. Their service was great too.

Like most people, I imagine, the pairs of scissors I've had in the past were second hand loaners or hand-me-downs. Actually getting a fresh set with blades this crisp and hinges that work was an experience! There's no reason to struggle with any task requiring scissors when an amazing product this inexpensive is available.

I bought this product out of curiosity and skepticism. I'm now a believer. I recently installed a protective wear strip along the bottom of my kayak. This wear strip is designed to stick to a surface that is not only constantly submerged in brackish/salt water, but also to take the abuse of bumping/scraping and grinding up on rocks/gravel/sand/etc. Needless to say, the wear strip is designed for pretty abusive conditions and is only held on via its adhesive layer. Think duct tape x10. Peeling off the adhesive backing required the use of a needle, Exacto knife and tweezers. The adhesive is so tacky that I had to use the needle and knife to start a tiny separation between the adhesive and backing so I could then use the tweezer to slowly pull off the backing. But this is not a glue review... Well the wear strip needed to be trimmed and notched to fit the contours of my boat and these nonstick scissors were perfect for the job. Despite maybe permanently having tiny shavings of wear strip all over my kitchen floor, the scissors remained so clean you could use them next to cut up chives or parsley for an on the water salad. So far, awesome scissors that have demonstrated fine sharpness and remarkable indifference to adhesives.

Tough on the hands, harder to open and close than expected, but sharp, clean cuts.

I love these scissors. I previously had two pair and they both “disappeared.” So happy have these! They are great cutting tape, plastic envelopes and packages and anything else that’s challenging. The price is good, too. Fiskar’s makes great scissors and other hand tools!! 👍

Nice quality scissors

In my opinion: Excelent for cutting materials including eg sticking-plasters, DIY masking tape, etc; it helps to give the blade a wipe to avoid sticky build-ups.

Like Fiskars products. Needed a durable pair of scissors to cut fabric everyday. These have lasted and are comfortable to use.
