How many safety tethers are included?

No safety straps. Just the 2 main straps and connectors. Im never concerned about failure, it’s unscrewing them for a shot and forgetting it’s no longer attached when I let go.

Can a pouch (joey or bryce) attach to this strap?

Yes, I think so, but I didn't find the need for it.

I am left handed. Will this work for me? Description says it is to be used across a right handed users body.

technically you could because there are straps on both sides. the left side is a little shorter because it hangs straight down apposed to across the chest. my daughter who is left handed has worn it and uses it this way
