The media could not be loaded. Quality product from D-Link except a few drawbacks. Setup and installation is very easy. This recent version has all the settings from different service providers pre-installed. You can go through the Wizard mode to easily connect to the service provider. No need of entering the settings manually. The sticker says to insert and run cd first. No need of that. Modern OS have the drivers pre installed. I got it easily set up in a few clicks. Less expensive as well.The only drawback is that the signal has not enough power to reach all areas like from my installed room to the kitchen within a round 8 meters or to the first floor. The signal strength will become weak after this and connection drops. My earlier Linksys router easily covered these areas without any issues.If you have a larger area to cover, I would suggest going for the next level router with two antennas or a more powerful one. Within the range the connection works fine and internet speed is also great.

Delivery was almost in time. The delivery date overlapped with the weekend (saturday 8 pm). I waited at my office at saturday 8:pm to receive the package but the delivery did not happen. It was a bit disappointing to see that misleading communication regarding delivery time was there. however the package was delivered on monday morning.Regarding the package, it was neatly done. I saw the router was well stuffed with inflated plastic pouches all around to keep it safe during the transit. Perfect.I opened up the package and found router and all accessories in there. So, no missing items. Router was simply "touch and go" as soon as I powered it up. My ISP helped with the configuration part and I am all set to use it.The router boots up quickly and I get the wifi on my pc within half a minure. Thats good compared to my earlier router. Also, I have a good wifi range across multiple walls (all bars up). That said I have faced no issues in terms of connection drops or anything else so far. I have rated this transaction "5 stars" as the product is working fine and I do not hold any gripe with the delivery time.

I'm using this since 8 days. No heating issue I have used it for more than 3 days continuously even then the heating is normal. Works very efficiently signal strength is good and range too as well. It covers a circle of radius 25feet(as I experienced it also depends on walls and other obstacles as well) with good signal strength inside home. Also getting good signal on 1st floor too.Coming to built quality its pretty good doesn't look cheap at all. A well finished product for the price.Performance is awesome. Hope it will last till years.....Thank you

Purchase this 2 days back. DSL LED is not stable and it blinks often and net is getting disconnected again and again. Internet LEd is not even glowing in Bridging mode and In PPoe mode internet light turns red. In both cases DSL LED is often blinking. I reset it 2 times but the same problem persisted. Then i connected my existing modem and it worked perfectly. SO there is no problem with line. Are there some additional settings which i have to do. Or should I return it . Package was brand new and didnt seem like used product.Amazon please let me know.Edited Review:I replaced the router, but unfortunately same problem appeared. This is a new version of 2730U modem with completely new settings and menu. I think it is not compatible with BSNL line (atleast in my region) because DSL is not getting stable even in their office. I configured using the CD then manually, change some ADSL settings which was mention on net but with no success. I ran the diagnose test and all were failed. Many have faced this same issue but no proper solution was mentioned on blogs. Line is Good as i am able to connect the net using my existing wired BSNL router (Model no: UT300R2U).I have given 3 stars cause I am satisfied with the Cloudtail seller and the service provided by amazon. This ADSL modem+ wireless router from D-Link is, I believe, the best device available in market in low price range.- It connects quickly and establishes secure connection for surfing.- The modem software is simple and very easy to use.- Signal strength is good everywhere in my 2 BHK house.- I connect my Xbox also through it, works flawlessly.Bottom line, does what it promises.And thanks to Amazon for the great delivery through ATS. Very prompt, and timely. eg:- I told them on the day of the delivery, to deliver it before 4:30 pm, before I leave my office. I got the package at 4:20 pm!!

This product is value for money and it is the 2nd time I have bought it. The first one has lasted for years inspite of heavy usage so experience has been good leading me to buy this for the 2nd time. The one that I have bought this time is lighter than the one I bought earlier and so far I have not had any problems. Will update the review in case there are any issues in the longer run.

I would not even bother to rate this, not because the product is bad but because of the deceitful way in which this has been sold and the support that I got from D-Link.The day I installed it, I was sometimes getting redirected to the site of TataDocomo. I spent several hours cleaning my computer for virus, malware, repairing OS and resetting the router. When everything failed I spent money for calling a local computer expert, but there was no relief. I then decided to get in touch with D-Link. After several attempts to reach them over the mail and through the phone I finally got in touch with them but they were also not able to help me.I then decided to search the advance setting options of the router and found that it was set to redirect to tatadocomo site. I have suffered for the past one month and now for the past two days (since I made changes to the advance setting) I have no problem.
