This broom is extremely efficient to remove fine dust particles on any surface - tiles, marble, concrete, wooden floors...I have been using this type of broom in other countries and I was very happy to finally find a good quality similar kind of broom here. This broom is particularly efficient for sweeping the corners of the room and under beds and furniture. The bristles of this broom are quite thick and strong which allows the broom to stand straight by itself, without bending the bristles, and it collects the dust much more efficiently than any grass broom!The only drawback is the handle which is a bit too short : the total height of the broom is 45 inches. So depending on your height, you might still have to bend a bit to sweep the floor. But you can easily replace this handle with longer handles from other brands.This broom is meant to be used indoors and is not suitable to scrub the floor with water.

Bought this Flat floor broom sometime ago after checking out the same in the brick and mortar store.1. The length of the rod is not very high but neither is it short to make you UN-comfortable2. The bristles of the brush are very soft & moves on the floor (tiled/cemented floor) nicely, I have used mine on these 2 floors & found it does aquick job of gathering the muck. Ideal for home with kids. But I do agree with one of the reviewers it will not take over the role of traditionalindian "jhadu"3. What this broom will not to is - get into the corners, under the sofa and bed. Good to have for quick short job & leave the big ones for thejhandu. Definitely more presentable when you are having party & need to clear spilled food / snack on the floor4. Also, in some ways convenient to clean the carpet coz of bristles5. The width of the brush ensure that you cover bigger floor areaNice product on the whole but if you are looking to replace your India "Jhadu" no way. It wouldn't work as the Indian conditions are different.

Definitely Mr.Short. I have ordered this product even after reading the negative reviews as it's a Gala product. Even if your height is 5 feet, you should bend and clean. Bristles are short and hard, you can leave this on it's bristles to make it stand! A BIG NO NO TO THIS Mr. tall IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LENGTHY PRODUCT!

This is not a bathroom cleaner but a broom used for sweeping. It does the job quite well, though I wish the rod was longer. The bristles seem quite reasonable, though they are losing shape within a few sweeps. Hope it is as durable as claimed.

I come from a place where this is what we call a broom, and I have been looking for that type of broom for years as I HATE the Indian jhaadoo with passion.The handle of this one is a bit short, but luck has it that the brush head fits on my scotch brite flat mop handle so I simply discarded the original handle and use the scotch brite handle for both the broom and mop (it also takes less space in my home that way).There might be a bit of a learning curve if you aren't used to that type of broom, but let me assure you it sweeps under beds and furnitures just fine. The bristle are very close to one another making it great to catch dust.It also lifts far more dust off the floor than your typical grass broom and sweeping takes about half the time.I have decided to do without a maid for a while and this broom really makes my life 10 times easier. Cleaning the floor is breeze, and what's more it does stay clean through the day longer.I say go ahead and discard that grass broom for this one, it's totally worth it.

The bristles are dense and nice to clean the dust and collect garbage etc. But the handle is small for tall people and it very heavy to use. I have back problem ..that's y I can't use the traditional broom..so bought this one...but my money got wasted...I had even more pain bcoz its small for me and heavy too.For people with low height..it can be useful...but keep in mind that its heavy!!! You'll get tired too soon!The only positive part is that its sturdy and dense bristles.

This is an amazing product. I was a little sceptic that the bristles of the brush will be hard thus making cleaning difficult. But no, the bristles are soft and it just gets the job done. Whether it's wet or dry cleaning. Great product .

The broom came in a soft packaging bag, not in a box. Naturally the stick of the broom arrived broken in 2 points.It doesn't look to be a solid stick at all.
