Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is used to treat and prevent dandruff and dry or greasy scaling of the scalp (seborrheic dermatitis) in adults and children aged 12 years and older. Features Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is a pink liquid shampoo Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •The patient is under the age of 12 years. •For external use only. Do not swallow. •In patients who have been on prolonged treatment with topical corticosteroids, it is recommended that the steroid therapy be gradually withdrawn over a period of 2 to 3 weeks, while using Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo, to prevent any conditions flaring up. •Keep out of the eyes. If the shampoo should get into the eyes, they should be rinsed with water. •If the scalp has not cleared within 4 weeks, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Use every three to four days for two to four weeks. To keep your scalp clear and to prevent dandruff returning, use Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo once every 1 – 2 weeks. If you stop using Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo altogether, your symptoms may become a problem again.
