Quality product but beware: internal dimensions are not given in the description
This is a quality product but beware: the internal dimensions are not specified and are necessarily smaller than the external dimensions given in the description. For my use: protecting a Hive thermostat and a Hive controller, the 'guard' just fit my two devices with barely a centimeter to spare in the vertical dimension. Had the separation between the two devices been greater, the 'guard' would have been useless. I got lucky. In shipping and handling, the film packaging rubs against the front cover, whitening the clear plastic a little. This can be seen in the photo against the black background of the lower right of the thermostat.

Good product but poorly packaged
Great thermostat cover and fit for purpose. Only issue is the plastic packaging scratches to the front of the cover which is clearly visible when fitted. Order 2 and both are the same.

No security
Solid, but surface scratches due to poor packaging, bought several and all damaged Biggest problem is they are all keyed alike so nothing stopping the HMO tenants from buying another here and adjusting the stat! Will have to replace the lock

Good design - works well.
I bought this to cover a thermostat in a communal area where various people kept fiddling with it and changing the temperature. It has enabled me to keep a steady controlled temperature without frequent changes (both up and down) by unauthorised people. They may hate it. I love it - and it is working well. I think this will have recovered its own cost quickly by regulating temperature at a sensible temperature..

Used for a Sauna Controller so Patrons could see temperature of sauna but could not fiddle. Great that I could mount the cover with out having to first disconnect and remove the controller that I was trying to protect.

De thermostaat werd "misbruikt" door veel te hoge temperaturen te vragen. De beschermkap moet dat voortaan verhinderen. Het is de enige thermostaatbeschermer die groot genoeg is voor de aanwezige thermostaat.
