SK-200 Protein Skimmer

instructions have very little detail. This isnt my first rodeo and have tuned other skimmers. This is by far one of the most difficult to get right. I prefer a "wetter" skim. This is either wet or foam. When i say wet, i mean empty the cup every 48 hours or it will overflow. When i say foam i mean it foams to the top with skimmate but not the oil texture skim I am looking for. I have only had it set up for about 3-4 weeks but every 3rd day i try to adjust and it never finds the sweet spot. My ATO keeps the water level in my sump at the same height all the time. I have raised and lowered the skimmer and still cant get it to where i want it. Maybe I am doing something wrong but there isnt a ton of info out there on these - lots of guys modify them and seem to love them once they do.
