โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely Worth the Investment โ Coffeehouse Quality at Home!
I spent a considerable amount of time researching coffee makers before finally deciding on the Ninja Luxe Cafรฉ Premier ES601, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I was initially hesitant because of the price, but after using this machine, I can honestly say I have no regrets. The quality, versatility, and overall experience have exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love that I can make regular drip coffee, authentic espresso, hot or iced lattes, and cappuccinos, all from one beautiful machine. The built-in grinder is fantastic, and the assisted brewing features make creating coffeehouse-quality drinks surprisingly easy. My favorite creation so far has been a white chocolate mocha breve latte with steamed half-and-half and whipped cream. Without exaggeration, it was the best latte I've ever had! The milk frothing system is another highlight. I prefer my milk silky and steamed rather than overly foamy, and this machine delivers exactly what I want. The stainless-steel design is gorgeous and looks wonderful in my coffee nook. It has the substantial, premium appearance I was looking for. I've only had the machine a short time, so I can't speak to its long-term durability yet. However, my initial experience has been outstanding. And perhaps my favorite part of all? Every morning when I walk into my kitchen to make coffee, I feel like a little kid waking up on Christmas morning! It's been a long time since a purchase has brought me this much genuine excitement and happiness. I actually look forward to getting out of bed and making my morning latte. Yes, it's an investment, but for someone who enjoys great coffee and wants a true cafรฉ experience at home, I think it's absolutely worth considering. I love it more every time I use it!

Starbucks has lost my business
โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Starbucks has officially lost my business I am happy to report that I am now a former customer of Starbucks โ and honestly, pretty much every other drive-thru coffee place โ after buying the Ninja Luxe. First things first: there IS a learning curve. This is not a โpush one button and magically become a baristaโ machine. Youโll want to do a little homework. Research your beans, watch a few videos, and plan on grabbing a few extras like an espresso glass/cup, microfiber cloths for wiping down the milk wand, a knock box, and obviously some syrups because we are not animals. You also have to maintain and clean the machine. Again, this isnโt a Keurig situation. BUT it simplifies the espresso-making process enough that you can make genuinely good coffee at home without needing to enroll in barista school. It took me about three days to really dial in my preferred drink, and once I did, I havenโt looked back. Iโve saved around $150 in the first month alone, because apparently when Mom stops going to Starbies, the kid also stops getting her little drive-thru treats. ๐ Speaking of kids, the steam milk setting has been a huge hit for making hot chocolate for my daughter. So itโs not just my personal coffee machine anymore. One thing I donโt see mentioned enough: you do need a little upper-body/hand strength to insert and lock the portafilter into place, and sometimes to remove it afterward. If you have significant hand, wrist, or arm weakness, that is definitely something I would consider before purchasing. Overall, if youโre willing to spend a few days learning the machine and actually maintain it, this thing is fantastic. It gives you enough control to make your drink exactly how you like it without making the whole process ridiculously complicated. My only real problem now is that coffee shop drinks taste disappointing because I know I can make mine better at home.

"This One Earned Its Spot."
My wife had always wanted an espresso machine without spending a fortune. The night she ordered this one, she could barely sleep. When it finally arrived, her excitement was through the roof. We've been using it regularly since it was delivered on May 29, and it has exceeded our expectations. The reality is that this is an excellent product at a reasonable price. There isn't a single part that feels cheap or flimsy. The machine feels sturdy, well-built, and refined, and it looks great sitting on our coffee bar. I think the stainless-steel finish is a great neutral color that fits into almost any kitchen. If you're looking for something a little different, Ninja offers other color options on their website. You can certainly spend more on a higher-end model, but for our family, this machine has everything we need. If you're looking for Starbucks-level speed every morning, it's capable of delivering that. However, I'd encourage you to slow down and enjoy the process. There's something incredibly satisfying about crafting your own coffee and producing a drink that feels cafรฉ quality from the comfort of your home. The instructions and videos are so well done that they leave you feeling confident from day one. After a little practice, you'll feel like you could walk into a coffee shop and tell the barista, "Thanks, but I'll make my own coffee today." To wrap up this admittedly long reviewโbecause Ninja deserves itโthey absolutely knocked it out of the park. Between the build quality, ease of use, and quality of the drinks it produces, this machine has earned a permanent place in our kitchen. As an Air Force veteran, I appreciate products that do what they promise, and this one delivers. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it without hesitation.

Fantastic for casual use. Not for hot rods.
Iโve owned this machine for about 8 months and I am comparing this to my Breville Barista. Itโs a great device, if youโre getting it for the right reason. I have this one in my office at work and itโs a fantastic machine. Fast, easy to use, minimal clean-up, no fuss. It does the thing. Easy to follow steps leading to fast and delicious beverages. If you are looking for something fool-proof with a variety of drink options this is absolutely for you. An average achieving 4th grader can set up and run this machine. You will not go back and you will save sooo much money in the long run getting yourself un-addicted to $7 lattes. If you are looking to tinker, tune, hot-rod or slap on a bunch of aftermarket parts, this isnโt the device for you. Go for a more traditional machine. This machine works best when you run it as is and let it do its thing. It doesnโt even have enough clearance for most puck screens, and I think it throws off its calibration. The wastewater tray is also pretty small. I empty it much more than I do on my Breville. You can make a variety of drinks in this and many are great (cold press works well) but some are more gimmicky. Regular brew coffee doesnโt taste great. Also itโs harder to use this as a dedicated on demand hot water source for tea and such. It doesnโt have a dedicated spigot for hot water. Lastly the water frothing feature is awesome, but for some reason the steam wand (which has restrictive movement and you must use the stock pitcher) the wand always dribbles on me when Iโm cleaning it. I think itโs a personal problem.

Still Going Strong After Almost Two Years of Daily Use
Weโve had this machine for almost two years now and use it pretty much every day. It has easily become one of our favorite kitchen appliances. The biggest thing for us is just how good the lattes come out. Theyโre consistently delicious, and the machine takes a lot of the guesswork out of making them. You donโt have to be an espresso expert to get a really good drink out of it. Iโm also really impressed with how reliable it has been. After nearly two years of heavy use, itโs still going strong and we havenโt had any major issues with it. At this point the novelty has obviously worn off, and we still use it constantly. That probably says more than anything else. If you want good lattes at home without turning coffee making into a whole complicated hobby, this has been fantastic for us.

I don't really DO 5-Star reviews, but...
I admit that once upon a time, I chased the dragon. I owned progressively more expensive grinders and espresso machines and pour-over machines...at some point, I gave up chasing fantasies and bought the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. I don't give five star reviews unless something changes my life. My friends, welcome to a five star review of the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. Every day, I awaken at 5am to get ready for my day. One of the very first things I do is make my first double-shot oat milk latte. Not every day, but often, a second cup comes around 9am. If I was paying someone, I'd be broke, and if I was doing what I used to, that would be 30 minutes. Now, it's ensuring there's water in the reservoir, beans in the hopper, and the pitcher filled with oat milk and in place in the foaming station. Then I push one button to get a perfect 18g of beans ground at the optimal setting per the system's brains - I do have to WDT, level, and tamp, as well as putting the portafilter in the unit. Then I push two buttons and walk away. A short three minutes or so later, I return to a perfectly pulled double-shot and perfectly foamed oat milk. All I have to do is assemble. While there have been a few times where I forgot to put the glass under the portafilter, this is otherwise so easy you can do it sleepwalking. So, now I get my one to two cups of coffee a day, at least as good as I'll get at the drive through run by teenagers with FAR too much energy for 5am, and while it wasn't cheap, if I simply add up all the cups I've had since I got it, it's saved me money already. Good coffee requiring barely any brains for well under $600 is a steal. SO much so that many more influential reviewers have indicated it's a shot across the bow of high-priced semi-automatic espresso machines. For 66% of the price of the least expensive alternative semi-automatic machines, the Ninja Luxe Cafe simply smokes the competition. And if you don't believe me, go research it. You'll find even James Hoffman grudgingly admires this machine. Simply put, coffee shop quality espresso drinks, requiring very little effort, making the indulgence less indulgent? Yes, please. I smile every damn day when I get my coffee!

Better Quality Than Most & Value That Seems Endless
I almost never leave reviews, but I was so impressed here I was left with no choice. This machine is, hands down, the best value automatic or semiautomatic espresso machine on the market right now. I've owned and tried many of them, including the creme de la creme, the Jura machines from Switzerland which run $2000 to $6000. I can't believe how many features and how much quality they packed into this machine for such a price. I honestly don't know how they did it. I got mine for less than five hundred dollars and they even threw in no interest financing for a full year. Are you kidding me? I should've bought ten of these things for that kind of a deal. You can try out the expensive ones like Jura, Miele, Bosch, etc, or the mid-range ones like Gaggia, Breville, DeLonghi, etc, or the less expensive automatics like Kitchen Aid, Philips, Cuisinart or any number of brands made in China with their company name & logo slapped on them, and you won't find a better value than the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. It just ain't gonna happen. I won't go into the details of a product testing review as you can find endless numbers of those online or on YT. Suffice to say I was blown away by the power of the pump and boiler, the quality of the grinder, the perfect and easy-as-pie milk frother, the speed and efficiency of every function, the design, and....just everything about it. If you want great espresso, perfect milk foam, fantastic drip, a capable grinder and a price that no other company on the market can even come close to with this level of build quality and performance, look no further. You've found your new machine.

Great espresso machineโฆ but apparently it believes in hydration
Purchased Jan 28, 2026, and overall this is actually a pretty solid espresso machine with some features I really like. But it also has one behavior that made me question my life choices the first few days. Letโs start with the good stuff. What I Like The built-in grinder works well and the grind adjustment is very easy to change. The machine even recommends a grind setting for espresso, which is nice for people who donโt want to play coffee scientist right away. Another thing I like is the storage design. A lot of the accessories actually have their own place on the machine, so parts like the tamper and tools donโt end up wandering around the kitchen drawer. The frother works well, and Iโve had no problem getting good foam for milk drinks. And most importantlyโฆ It makes a good espresso. Shots come out consistent, and once you dial in the grind it performs pretty nicely. Nowโฆ the thing that drives me slightly insane The waste water reservoir fills up very quickly. Iโm not exaggerating when I say that after about three espresso shots, the orange light pops on telling me the drip tray / waste reservoir is full. Which means the workflow becomes something like this: 1. Make espresso 2. Make another espresso 3. Make a third espresso 4. Machine says โstop everything and empty meโ So now you stop making coffee, remove the tray, dump the water, put it back, and continue. And yesโฆ if you ignore it, it will overflow the next time. Why This Happens (Apparently) After reading about it, this seems to be normal behavior for machines like this, not necessarily a defect. From what I understand, the machine sends water to the drip tray for several reasons: โข Pressure relief from the brew system after a shot โข Thermal stability to maintain correct brewing temperature โข Internal rinsing cycles that keep coffee oils from building up โข Pump pressure management during extraction So some of the water you see isnโt โwastedโ exactly. Itโs the machine protecting itself and keeping the brew system clean. Stillโฆ when you start with 16 oz in the tank and see 4โ5 oz end up in the waste tray, it feels like the espresso machine has a very generous interpretation of the word โefficiency.โ Things People Suggest to Reduce It Some suggestions I found (and experimented with): โข Adjusting the grind slightly coarser than the recommended setting โข Making sure the portafilter isnโt overpacked โข Running shots back-to-back instead of letting the machine idle between them โข Making sure the drip tray is fully seated and sensors are clean The one that made the most sense to me was going one grind setting coarser, since extremely fine grinds increase pressure and can cause the machine to release more water through the relief system. It helped a littleโฆ but the tray still fills up pretty fast. My Comparison Iโve owned cheaper espresso machines that honestly didnโt do this as aggressively. So when it started happening my first thought was: โIs this normal? Is it defective? Is it kind of defective?โ From what I can tell, it seems to be how the machine is designed, even if itโs a little annoying in daily use. Final Thoughts Overall: โข Good grinder โข Smart design with built-in storage โข Good espresso quality โข Easy to adjust grind settings โข Solid frother But also: โข You will be emptying the drip tray often I also use good filtered water to reduce scaling, so watching several ounces of it head straight to the waste reservoir feels a little painful. At one point I briefly considered recycling the waterโฆ but letโs be honest, thatโs where we draw the line. If youโre okay with occasionally pausing your coffee session to dump the machineโs hydration program, this is still a good espresso setup. Just know that this machine apparently believes every espresso deserves a water ceremony afterward

Bien, no espectacular
