This is working better for me than Boric Acid ever did. Boric acid suppositories shouldn’t be used regularly because they’re mildly caustic to living tissue. They work by acidifying the vagina and killing microbes, but in the process they can irritate the vaginal lining, strip protective mucus, suppress beneficial Lactobacillus along with harmful organisms, and over time contribute to dryness, inflammation, microtears, and rebound infections, creating a cycle of temporary relief followed by recurring symptoms. Vaginal probiotic suppositories, on the other hand, support healing rather than suppression by directly replenishing beneficial bacteria, helping restore natural pH, strengthen the epithelial lining, rebuild the protective microbiome, and improve mucosal resilience. Instead of chemically forcing balance like boric acid does, probiotics help your body re-establish its own defenses, making them a gentler, longer-term solution for preventing recurrence and supporting vaginal tissue health.

I mix this in with some lactic acid lube from ( good clean love) its lactic acid vaginal gel. I open the cap and mix the two until the powder blends in with the lube. then insert inside of me. The lactic acid will help feed the probiotics and help them survive inside your vagina . It may be a little messy so wear a liner . Better than having to wait till the capsule dissolves and cause dryness and may not even dissolve fully. Try it … other than that. I use this for the bacterial strains and to help re balance me after a BV/ yeast infection. So far I’ve had no issues with me technique.

In the beginning of this year I had 6 yeast infections and 1 bv in 5 months. I tried boric acid, drank lots of kefir, and took a lot of oral probiotics but nothing worked. When I started using this and ditched the boric acid, things cleared up. It’s been 5 months since my last infection. I wouldn't recommend using it longer than a week straight after getting things balanced though. There is such a thing as TOO much Lactobacillus, believe it or not (Cytolytic Vaginosis). I think i may have swung all the way to that side by overdoing it, because i had all the signs of a bv (except a yellow chunky discharge) but tests came back negative for bv and yeast, so i got a culture specific test and it said that everything was normal, but i did have a very high level of lactobacilli. But after I took a step back, things balanced out. Since then, I only use it for 1-3 days during my luteal phase and 1-3 days after my period, and 1-3 days if things start to feel a little itchy down there. Nothing abnormal has happened down there for 4 months and im very grateful about it!

Believe the hype! I was skeptical after having issues with BV for some time and trying everything under the sun for remedy. That is until I realized that the only way to fix the problem was to add in lactobacillus (good bacteria) back to the mix. This product contains all of the strains that a well balanced vagina needs to function properly. After peering through the reviews I was informed that the product is not wet/does not dissolve well in a vagina with an imbalance. I am so grateful for doing that research and the people who recommended lactic acid gel. This is the combo that not only worked but worked on day one. To be sure the results were not a fluke I tried the combo on the last day of my period. The rumors are true a panty liner/pad will be needed in order to catch the residuals. 3 days later no additional application from the first day I have relieved myself of the dreaded BV symptoms that I believe all women are seeking to eliminate: the smell. The fact is the smell went away day one of the application but as we all know with recurring BV it will find its way back. If not that same day, the next one. Embarrassingly enough each time I went to the bathroom I expected to be disappointed. That disappointment was replaced with so much relief. I am now on day 4 and still no smell. Key Points: This product will replenish the good bacteria that has been overrun by bad bacteria causing the BV Insert Lactic Acid Vaginal Gel before suppository to ensure that the product will dissolve and not cause as much/any cramping while also feeding the probiotic (lactobacillus) to help it multiply Wear a pad to catch any residuals and become pleasantly surprised of your results!

I like that these don’t have anything but the probiotics. I tried other brands which were soft and oil coated and they left me feeling oily inside.
