Cambridge IGCSE Geography with CD-ROM (Cambridge International IGCSE)

We are homeschooling my son on Cambridge IGCSE. This Geography textbook is thorough and easy to read and understand. He is able to self-study without problem, although it is plenty informative, thorough and interesting. The CD-ROM is very useful in providing printable or, if you prefer, just viewable supplemental assignments for each unit. The book uses a case-study approach, giving a topic and a real-world specific case study to portray each topic in practical real scenarios. The CD-ROM supplements than give at least one task/lab-like assignment for the student to practice applying the skills needed for the topic of assessment, and also a separate actual Sample Question similar to past questions on the actual exam (along with providing detailed answer sheet of how to score the assignments, and explanations for each answer). It is very thorough as a stand-alone system for teaching and learning IGCSE Geography. We have not felt the need to purchase the Teacher's Manual; my son is learning fine with this book and supplementing with online resources whenever he wants to go deeper into a subject. Great resource.

The iGCSE in Geography is becoming more popular but this is also a good general text for any GCSE Geography course as there are many common themes e.g. hazards, urbanisation

Ottimo libro di testo (suggerito dalla scuola), arrivato a destinazione in pochissimo tempo. Mia figlia si trova benissimo nell'uso. Chiaro e comprensibile
