Adequate with Zip Ties and Velcro
As good as any other screen your going to find on market.Pro's: covers more area than previous 3 we tried and returned. Blocks dogs from coming underneath in between car seats. The 'arching' shape on sides nice and the overall grid is flexible to accommodate any car. (use in our Subaru's)Con's: must have black zip ties handy to really secure the grid. Also, highly recommend velcro to stick to rubber ceiling mounts to hold against fabric in ceiling. IF NOT, then the rubber mounts slide and will mark your ceiling. (about 3 " in diameter). While you can take this unit up /down it really is meant to be fixed in place all the time.

Effective
I have this installed in my van to keep AnnaBelle aka "Satan's Child", the family pet, from destroying any items she can get a hold of. She once shredded a new box of swiffer dusters and it looked like a chicken had been plucked in the car, and we were gone less than 5 minutes. It creates a much safer environment for her stay in and protects her from destroying or eating something that might harm her. Yet she gets to participate by coming along on errands or trips. I used zip ties instead of the clips to secure the extension on.

Cheap Chinese product
I have a Yukon xl the barrier was made to fit a Toyota rav had it fully extended it just bearly fit then had to purchase separate panel because I have bucket seats all the way back, they sent the wrong panel, I didn't return it because I had the barrier and extra panel for almost a year before I opened it.When I went to install it I had to replace both threaded rods that support the barrier as they were stripped when the Chinese wing nuts started to put pressure on the rod they would strip.once installed the barrier collapsed as the 2 of the plastic connectors broke for what ever reason and the gate came crashing down.Product sucks look else ware for a better barrier

Pet barrier extension panel
The extension panel looks like it will do what it is meant to do.I found that I did not need the panel with the pet divider that I purchased at the same time. I am having no luck at getting aRA number so that I may return the item. The phone number provided does not work and no one answers my e-mails. This is very poor customer service.

Well made and appears easy to install
I was unable to use this as I found it was not needed following the order of my Wire Mesh Extension panel from another company (see other review). Because it was from another company I did not return it. It's still in the box and I will keep it in case we purchase another vehicle that might require an extension. I did this because the cost to return the item would have been almost as much as the item itself. If you are placing your dog in the backseat of your car, you will want this. Our vehicle, a Toyota Rav4,, with the backseats folded down did not need the extension.

Check parts list
A good product, but upon receipt, check the parts list against what you receive. Mine was missing 2 necessary parts. Manufacturer, with proof of purchase from Amazon, readily agreed to send replacements. But even the replacements shipment was missing one of the two parts.

Sturdy
The wire mesh extension panel blocks the dogs from getting under the barrier when the 2nd row seats are folded. I supplemented the attachment hardware with velcro cable ties to make the attachment more sturdy and eliminate some rattles.

Fine with frequent adjustment
Fits my Ford Flex, but requires frequent adjustment (tightening) to prevent rattling and falling on my dogs. The tubular dog barriers are better than the mesh but there isn't one for the Flex.
