This book is full of information and a wonderful reminder of this unbelievably beautiful place. I highly recommend this book.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park remains one of my favorite year round destinations to hike, camp , picnic or just for a scenic drive . This book is an instructive tool to appreciate the full composition and varied history of this canyon complex. Having this text completes the experience .

Very interesting

Great book!

I purchased this book to get some background on Palo Duro as I will be visiting in June. It does get very technical and I did skip over reading some of it. I found the political development of the park interesting.

No colored pictures

I was really wanting a hiking and camping guide. This was more of a compilation of scientific papers and of very limited use to me.
