LILYGO T-Deck ESP32-S3 LoRa BLE WiFi TTGO Module LoRaWAN Long Range Development Board (Black LILYGO Firmware)

Not sure why people return this, unless they didn't realize that there is no case included? I really REALLY love this board, it is well built and I did find a 3D printed case which is okay but this I think was more for the cool nerdy people like myself who enjoy tinkering with things. I flashed the device using the Meshtastic firmware with the cool UI. You need that UI if you want to have touch screen capabilities!! And you do not need to use Meshtastic on this device, I have seen people running old school versions of Window's 3.0 on here and using the track ball as a mouse, this thing is just super sweet to me. I paired it with an actual 8000mAh lithium battery and the life is days when using for the mesh. And if you plan on using this for the mesh network, it works great. Great quality and I love this thing! ❤️The best toy for me for this month!

I was hesitant at first and thought I bricked my first one. Well after I set up the second they connected perfectly! Quality of the product is good I just need to print a case. The display is simple what’s it’s needed for. The units I purchased already came with Meshtastic preloaded in them and I flashed them to the newest version which was easy as pie! Now I’m in the test phase of distance since there are no nodes around me so I’ll be creating a network in my area. Performance of the application is great and easy to configure everything from your mobile device or via cable from the Meshtastic network! Definitely going to be purchasing more Lilygo devices to setup to expand my network and reach! TDecks arrive before estimated time as I knew they were back ordered. Already flashed with the 2nd latest Meshtastic update. 3D printed a case for all of them I ordered. Love it!

I purchased two of these devices. One for me and one for my girlfriend. I added a GPS module and GPS antenna to both of them. I also purchased SMA antennas and cases for both of them. The T-Deck comes with the firmware choices: - LilyGo’s LoRa version -Meshtastic I chose the Meshtastic. It’s so much more convenient for me to use the T-Deck because of the built-in keyboard — I don’t have to carry my iPhone to use the Meshtastic application. The screen is bright and clear, in and out of the sun; and, the speaker is loud enough. I am pleased with the T-Deck. Check 6! /s/ Alfonso Faustino

Great! It works well and fits great into a 3d printed case My only issue is that when I connect a battery pack it does not work sadly, the board only works when USB-C is connected. Have tried to solder multiple battery packs to the board to no avail. Otherwise, solid device and will buy more.

Screen quality was impeccable you could see every crack on display. Board components we top of the line I love how the esp32 came delidded so convenient. The new embedded speaker was such a good idea so cool how they did it so you could see the layers in the PCB but lacking in sound quality that was the only disappointment.

I got this and some accessories before I found the model that comes with a case and gps. For most people, buy that model instead for an extra $3. There are some nice 3D printable cases for this device. As far as the device goes it works well. Meshtastic feels a little beta still. The touchscreen isn't utilized yet. It's easy to use and having a keyboard makes it feel more functional than the other devices.

It can be the hardest thing to program unless you follow directions well

Great clone of a blackberry for a LoRa transceiver. 3D printed a case for it, flashed it with Fancy Meshtastic. Added a 5000 mAh battery, a GPS unit and a 915 Mhz external antenna. Works very well.
