I live in Brooklyn, bodily, but spiritually...I belong on a farm somewhere! In my mind, I should have chickens and geese and grow my own food and drink well water and darn (whatever that means) old clothes. This chicken egg incubator is my foray into making that vision a reality! This incubator makes the whole hatching process so much easier, even for someone who isn’t very experienced. It holds either 12 or 24 eggs depending on the tray setup and the clear 360° around view lets you actually be able to watch the eggs without having to open it constantly. The automatic turner keeps the eggs rotated the way they need to be, so you don't have to have to remember to do it by hand. It also has humidity control built in, so you don’t have to guess or keep adjusting things constantly. Cleaning it is simple, the trays come out easily and the design doesn’t have a lot of tricky corners where things can get stuck. The color scheme (white and orange) makes it look modern and not like bulky old equipment, so I don’t mind having the incubator out on my kitchen table. I haven't gotten the eggs yet but I am soooo excited and will update this post after I do. It’s been super cool and intersting so far and I am reallly stoked at the thought that it will work and I will have actual chickens! I’d definitely recommend it for anyone just getting started in the Back to Nature Revolution!

While I worry it might become detached and disrupt the incubation process, it does make adding moisture much easier without having to disturb the eggs. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining the ideal humidity levels, which are essential for success.The LED screen is another highlight; it’s user-friendly and allows for easy adjustments. I appreciate the versatility it offers, enabling me to cater to different species of eggs or various incubation stages. However, I do wish it came with a built-in light for candling eggs, as that would make it more convenient to check on the development of the embryos.Lastly, the 5-year protection plan is a fantastic reassurance, providing peace of mind about the quality and durability of the incubator. Overall, it’s easy to use, clean, and includes all the essential features for a successful hatching process.

This would be terrific for any kind of youth classroom setting, or 4H. However, it will function quite well for anyone wanting to hatch eggs, including at home or on the farm. The unit itself is actually fairly sophisticated, performing multiple functions, but actual use is quite easy. It only hatches 12 eggs at a time, which is not large scale by any means, but even if you only get nine or 10 chicks out of each batch, that’s actually quite a lot of baby chicks running around. I’m not ready to do any hatching right at the moment, but I did plug this in and give it a try. Using a plastic egg and putting a mark on it with a felt pen, I was able to track that the rotation was working. Everything about this is pretty simple and easy to use. I would expect it to last for a considerable amount of time. The price is right. Overall, I would say it’s a good buy.
