𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝐙𝟓𝟓𝐇 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲,Compatible with Sony Headset Battery for WF-1000XM4(𝟐𝐏𝐂𝐒)+with Installation Tools Kit Z55H

These arrived quick. Easy enough to install and after charging my earbuds (wf-1000xm4) they appear to be holding charge well again.I replaced both left and right earbud batteries as I had time, and wanted to test longevity with the new replacements. Before, the right earbud would lose charge, go from 100% to 0% in an hour or less. It would also heat up in the charging case, and overall caused the case to drain quicker as well.Opening the earbuds was easy with a heat gun and spudgers. Replacing the battery took little finesse but still easily done. I did a quick test to the earbuds with a small charge before glueing. Just to be sure no other components were damaged. I let the glue cute for a full 24 hours while the earbuds were in foamed clamps to prevent damage/scratches.So far after about an hour and a half of use these new batteries went from 100% charged to 93%. Great improvement from before. I will continue this review as time passes.9 months in and still going strong. Keep that tube of glue. I will have to re apply. The seams on my wf-1000xm4 are starting to be able to pull apart. (my fault there. i was cleaning the seam and didn't realize i was scraping glue out)

The process to replace the batteries is not simple, you do need care and a bit of experience will help you along the way to not mess things up. If this is not your first rodeo, then this kit has everything needed in order to replace the batteries. As for the battery quality, it's been almost 18 months since I did the replacement and they are strong, no sign of issues or low battery errors like the original ones.

These batteries are labeled ZeniPower Z55H and they work well with my sets of WF-1000XM4 earbuds. Besides the heat gun, this package included everything needed to swap out the batteries. These new batteries with a full charge lasted 5 hours 10 minutes with noise-cancelling, much improved.For such a premium set of earbuds WF-1000XM4 from Sony, I expected the battery to last more than two years. But it has only been 1 year and 3 months, and one of the earbud became useless because of only 10 minutes of play time. Then 4 months later, the other could last only 20 minutes. I was going to throws my earbuds away, but hanks to those tutorial videos online, I can give this set of premium earbuds a second life. It turns out that this battery problem was not an isolated incident. Shame on Sony.

The batteries are good but the clamp has no strength to them. Also, when I got to the final step and open the glue, it was very difficult to squeeze out the glue. Basically it dried up, had to use my spare glue to finish the job.

I didn't find a better price anywhere else to get two batteries. Besides the batteries, the glue, and the opening picks, everything else was pretty useless. They seem to be holding up well after replacing them, but I'll update if I start to see any changes. I was not lucky like some folks that got a free replacement pair, so I decided to change them myself and it was incredibly easy.Update (7/15/24):Significant difference in battery life after changing batteries on both the earbuds! My original ones were so bad they didn't reach a full charge, so it's nice to put these on now and hear "fully charged". I went through my whole 2 hour workout without having to stop to recharge one of the earbuds. Instead I don't think they got below 97% afterwards! Will keep updating on my experience, but hopefully I don't have to replace them again for another 3 years!Update (9/23/2026):Looks like I got about 2 years out of these. They won't fully charge anymore, so will order again.

To be honest, this pack comes with a lot of tools, but all you really need are the tweezers, picks, a plastic lever, the finger glove, and glue—of course, the batteries too.Besides these, a heat gun and a clamp are necessary. It's not difficult work; all you need is patience and careful attention.If you already have the right tools, I’d recommend just buying the batteries, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Now, I need to check how long the new battery lasts after a full charge.

Given the known Sony XM-4 update bug that bricked the batteries of the buds I wanted to repair them and get more use out of them instead of letting them collect dust. I replaced the batteries and they last as good as they did when I first bought them if not better. Now the installation isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination but after watching a couple of YouTube videos and with the right tools it got done the most annoying part was not having a heat gun and using a blow dryer. If you want my advice get a heat gun(BE CAREFUL not to apply heat to one spot for too long) it beats using a blow dryer and still having to use a razor to pry the adhesive off.

7months in and it’s still holding up.My XM4s were affected with the 2.0.0 update and wouldn’t last an hour (both earbuds). I ordered these batteries and they look exactly the same as the OG. After the install, the XM4s can be use for long periods.The kit is alright, glue was quite useful tbh. The installation went smooth, I didn’t even use a heat gun to open the earbuds. I used a fine sharp knife (box knife) and shimmy the lines of the earbuds to get it to opened.Highly recommend these batteries if you were affected by the 2.0.0 update.

Very nice packaging with all necessary tools and even more than necessary tools lol. Will update this review after a year using these batteries

Two useful batteries with a bag full of useless cheap "tools" just to make the price up.

Lors de mon remplacement de batterie, y'a juste une batterie qui fonctionne. Pour être sur j'ai mis l'ancienne batterie dans l'écouteur et c'est fonctionnel. Avec un multimètre, le niveau de batterie est dans la zone de sa mort. Donc j'ai juste une batterie de vivante....
