I use these to organize maps, hiking trails, ski runs, sports, booklets, guides and miscellaneous information I gather for National, State, County and Local Parks and Recreation. Often times the pamphlets and maps are odd sizes. I love the see-through feature of these envelopes because I face the materials for each place to the front and back. I use my label maker to label each envelope and then store them in a cute wire basket. I keep the websites for each place stored in my contacts for online use, but, I still like a paper map.

I love see-through folders and envelopes for organizing paper. I'm a writer and I need to collect batches of paper and keep them from getting scattered. At the same time, I like to keep the collections neat and tidy - and I want to be able to identify them quickly. These envelopes are terrific for the above.In addition, I use a labelmaker to print out labels for the side (spine) of the envelope once it contains 100 or more pages, and I can then store my accumulated manuscripts on a bookshelf - neatly labeled and somehow more accessible because of the transparent quality of the storage material.The envelopes wear well and can be re-used for new projects once current projects are finalized and disposed of in the computer "cloud," with hard copies no longer needed.They also are useful for presenting work samples and marketing materials to clients. Plunk your business card in the Avery holder you've attached to the Poly Envelope and you have a neat presentation package.In short, great product!

The envelopes were as I wished and work fine, nice that they are see through, I am using them to sort and store recipes, can follow the one I'm using without taking it out and keeps them from getting messed up.

I had just about worn out some 10 year old side load poly envelopes, and wanted some replacements. These can hold about an inch stack of papers (this wasn't clear in the description). These envelopes (unlike my old ones) are sealed on the bottom so I can add a pen, pencil and/or highligher (and a thumb drive for back ups!) and not worry about them falling out the bottom. The old ones had velcro closures, so thought I would not like the button-string style, but have discovered I actually prefer this system, though I don't know if they will become a problem in the long run, but they seem substantial enough. Love the colors -- I can separate documents into categories or priority levels, and then quickly and easily find the right stack of papers in my laptop case when I want or need them. Great way to organize paper when traveling or when transporting paper work between the office and working from home.

Perfect for what I needed them for. I just wish they made these vertical poly envelopes with a snap, the wrap-around string method is a little annoying. These envelopes have taken quite a beating being in my backpack, so they are quite durable. Excellent price for a pack of 5!

I am personally not a fan of poly envelopes that you load as portait and not landscape. However, I was looking for light, transparent envelopes that would be expandable and this one of the best offered choice.It can contain quite a lot of documents and close with a small string that you wrap around the buttons.I like it for what it is. I am not 100% sure of its solidity and that's why I only gave 4 stars.

Great for protecting paperwork that you you have to take to CPA, lawyer or the office.

Great for storing and organizing papers you want to keep clean and flat.

I decided to go with closed envelopes semi transparent for my finances and important papers after years of open file folders. So glad I did. Plenty of room for yearly taxes and the accumulated paper trail. The folders fit into standard file boxes, contents easily organised. Plus I’m supporting a family WOO company.

Exactly what I needed. Sturdier than a paper envelope. Holds a lot of paper. Protects from weather during transport.

I'd like it a little bigger. Then again, that's what she said.
