**Q: Do you have to remove the caddie when using the sink?**
A: it would depend on the size of your sink and where you placed it if you would need to move it

**Q: will this fit over a 2" sink divider?**
A: Sidney, I did use this saddle over a 2" sink divider. Although it may work better in a sink with a narrower divider, it does the job fine.

A: I don’t know I just know how well it works.

A: dont know, it is easy to wash by hand, which would not be needed often.

It holds dish sponges and scouring pads, keeping your sink area neat. Highly rated and practical, it’s a great choice for kitchen organization.

This sink caddy was purchased to replace our old sponge holder. The old sponge holder attached with suction cups - and no matter what I did, the cups would lose suction after a week or so, and I'd find the sponge holder just sitting in the bottom of the sink. The Umbra Saddle Small Sink Caddy just rests over the top of the divider in a dual-basin sink, so there's no suction or magnets to keep it in-place (or to fail to keep it in-place). It just hangs there. The pockets are just the right size to hold a regular yellow/green scrub-sponge. And the whole thing is made of a rubbery, flexible material that's dishwasher-safe. The biggest complaint I've seen is that there's insufficient drainage - there's only four little holes in the bottom of the cup. I haven't had any trouble with drainage so far... But if that does prove to be an issue for you, the caddy is made of a rubbery material that's soft enough to easily add more holes if you need them.
