This optic was very simple to install. I got it for a steel on the price. definitely got my value out of it. Great battery life great brightness seems to be holding up. I use it on patrol and it’s gone through multiple qualifications and rifle schools so far.

Threw this onto a MAC5K with a UTG pro low profile mount and it has zero cowitness. If you want to cowitness just remove the spacer. I absolutely love this optic on the mp5 platform. I've removed it multiple times and it has never lost zero. If it ever seems like the optic is too bright and blurry.....turn it down lol. I wasn't a fan of the killflash at first but I no longer notice it.

Fast delivery and excellent packaging I was raining the day of delivery, the driver wrapped my package in a plastic bag. Very happy The red dot is the combination of everything I need glass is clear very clean dot and reticle light weight and the mount is solid. Excellent product

Here is my take on this Holosun 515GM red dot. 1. The Holosun 515GM arrived quickly and was well packaged upon arrival. 2. Solidly built, looks to be rugged and should be able to take some abuse. 3. Was close to being zeroed for 50 yards out of the box and it was easy to get to zero with a few rounds down range. 4. Nice clear/crisp 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle with good clear glass. 5. Lightweight so won't add much weight to your rig. 6. I liked the mount it came with (1/3 co-witness) and it attached solidly to my rail. I have no worries about it falling off. 7. Held zero after a couple hundred rounds of 5.56 and being thrown in my back seat of my vehicle over a bumpy road. 8. Looks awesome on my AR which is a plus. 9. A bit smaller than I was expecting but the description does say mirco so no complaints. 10. I like the see through flip-down front and back lense covers. Nice touch. 11. Overall it is a nice red dot and I am happy with what I got. My initial take of the Holosun HS515G-M is it appears to be an awesome red dot and I am happy with what I got. Is it worth $320? `That's up to you and what your expectations are. For a couple hundred more you can buy a Aimpoint Pro which is a proven commodity. But if you are like me and not jumping out of helicopters and looking for a mid-priced red dot for HD and plinking then the Holosun HS515G-M is a good pick IMHO.

I hope they keep on making these. I've bought several of this model I like it so much. I have not had a chance to take it through battle conditions but have used it in several classes. So far so good. I use it on all my custom AR builds. I do remove the kill flash on my installs. Have not had to replace the battery after 1 year and the shake awake is brilliant. All optics should have this feature - no brainer. Appreciate the side battery holder - easy to change batteries whenever or if I ever have too. QD mount works great. I always use 1/3 cowitness. Will be looking into getting a magnifier for this.

Best on the market for the price. Quality glass, though it’s not as clear as some, it’s still pretty damn clear. If the glass were a tad better, it’d be a 5 star optic all day. Super simple to install, and the 65 moa circle and 2 moa dot is plenty bright or dark. Functions great. Couldn’t be happier with how it performs on the range, and I’d be confident enough to take it into battle. Badass little red dot. If you’re wantin an Aimpoint but you’re on a budget, I totally recommend this guy.
