Will it work with pigments?

Not sure what the question is? If you mean dry pigments you would need a carrier and depending on the carrier, that would determine if you could reduce that carrier with this. Createx has several 'clears' that can be used for carriers. Their 4050 is recommended for use with their candy paints/dyes. Go to the Createx web site for instructions on using their products.

will 4012 reducer work as well with this?

Createx has phased out 4012 and has gone completely to 4011 for all of their paints. With 4012 I used to have the paint do what was called shock, where the paint would sort of curdle and 4012 was worse to tip dry. So they came out with the 4011 and recommend waiting 15 minutes before spraying.

Can this work with any acrylic paints?

Although Createx will work with other paints, it's best to keep the same brands when thinning paint. With acrylic paints, you can thin with water, but that's not always the best. Youtube has several airbrush artists/modelers that mix their own reducers However I use Createx almost exclusively and I use 4011 reducer. Createx used to have a couple of reducers but to simpifly using their products no only recommend using 4011 for all paints and once mixed they recommend waiting 10-15 minutes before spraying.

AWESOME REDUCER.

THIS REDUCER WORKS GREAT. BUT ACCIDENTS HAPPEN. THIS IS HOW I GOT MY PACKAGE. IT MADE IT TO MY POST OFFICE, THEN STARTED LEAKING. THE PERSON AT THE POST OFFICE PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG AND DELIVERED IT. I WAS REALLY WANTING TO AIRBRUSH THIS WEEKEND. BTW THERE WAS NO BUBBLE WRAP AROUND IT. UNLESS POST PERSON THREW IT AWAY.
