Lodge A-SPRAY Seasoning Spray, 8-Ounce,Yellow

This is a great product. Was happily surprised how this type of oil is superior to the cooking oils I use regularly in my kitchen to make my pan non-stick. Much better and smoother seasoning.

I absolutely love this stuff.Before I bought this to give it a try, I of course would put a little oil from a bottle in the pan and use a paper towel to spread it over my Lodge cast iron and carbon steel pans. Sometimes I had too little oil or too much.But with this spray, a quick light spray does just fine. Not too much or too little. Just spray and wipe down with a paper towel.Trust me when I say a little spray. There is no need to try to coat the pan like you would if you were using cooking spray. A quick tap on the nozzle and you're done. Anything over a second of spray time is too much and a waste.OH! I love my Lodge Cast Iron and Carbon Steel pans too!!!!!

This works perfectly to season and protect cast iron. Very easy to use and leaves the pans looking shiny. However it's kinda shady to use a six pack as the only picture when you actually only get one can. I guess you got me this time and I'll have to read description better next time.

I decided to try this product out to season my cast iron skillet and to season the metal shield inside my pellet grill. I followed the instructions regarding heating the surface to a point that the spray would immediately smoke upon contact. The result was exactly what I was needing.My only complaint is that I just bought one can (8oz) and I should have bought at least two. Will be buying again.

What a great product. This is pure canola oil with no propellants or other ingredients. Perfect for seasoning your cast iron and also for cooking. I use it for both. Since it's pure canola, it can be used for traditional nonstick pans as well. This should be sold in every supermarket. Who doesn't have cast iron? By the way, it sprays wide so aim with care. ; )
