Good book, equivalent explanation and above all cover most of topics.. A MUST read book for inspiring big data

useful to get basics of big data

Book was like as if used by some one before , some pages have machine level defects (torn in between) , writer should have applied map reduce concept while writing this book as same thing is repeated again. Could have reduced book size from 1000 pages to 700 pages atleast. Content is good and very helpful. Also have seperate chapter on lab practical programs which is good.

The book is more theoretical. The same thing has been repeated multiple times gives boring feel.

This book was probably put together by lazily copying and pasting texts from multiple resources, as it is made clear by the multiple repetitions. The fact that there is no author in the credits should have alerted me to the fact that it is just the result of a compilatory editorial job. Completely unreadable.
