Excellent brushes great bargain!
I am a 40 years + professional painter and I am very picky about my brushes. Wooster brushes have always been hands-down the best quality brushes made, and these are no exception. Very good bargain finding them on Amazon.

Best brush for polyurethane top coat to avoid yellowing
I'm going to begin with a story gone wrong, when I thought that all paint brushes are created equal. I recently stenciled and painted my bathroom tile floors. I read every article I could find, knowing I only have one shot to get it right. Which I did.... until the polyurethane top coat. If you've worked with it, you know (as I now do) that poly has a slight yellow tint that you can only avoid seeing on top of white paint by using a very thin single coat. So my floors are beautifully stenciled with a slight yellow tinge. Fast forward, I did my research this time and read that this paint brush works best with polyurethane, and I gave it a try on another tile project. Same base coat, same paint, same poly.... flawless coverage. I do attribute this to the paint brush. It felt different, I could see that I was getting thorough, controled coverage. If I ever paint again, I will absolutely use this brush again and I highly recommend it for any project. It's an investment to paint anything, and it's worth the extra couple bucks to know you'll get a great finish. Good luck!

Great for pros or do it yourself-ers!
As a professional, I love these silver tip Wooster brushes. Because the price point is lower than my other brushes, I use these as a go-to for fast drying paints like primer or water based polyurethane. They perform extremely well for oil-based also, and paint thinner or cleaner will not damage or wear the bristles. The thin angle sash is great for detail work. The handle is light and easy to hold for long periods of time. All of the Silver Tips I have purchased hold a good amount of paint, and the polyester bristles clean up so well. With proper care my brushes still look as though they've barely been used, despite almost daily use and cleaning. I have not tried using them for latex semigloss, due to the paint's temperament and its tendency to pull/streak. I'm sure the Silver Tips would probably perform well for most paint types.

Bleeds Latex Paint
So I was using the Behr Marquis latex so a thick paint and I thought a few new brushes would be good since I am painting my entire house. I have lot of experience cutting in and never had issues with Behr paint I prefer it.So break out this new brush to start cutting in the first room and hmmm lots of paint bleeding out to the side. I tried 6 ways from Sunday to get this brush to not leave trails of paint beside the brush and it simply doesn’t work. Maybe there is a type of paint that works better with this brush, but it was terrible with the latex paint I used anything thinner would have been far worse.I will simply go buy some brushes tomorrow, but I bought 2 sash brushes of these same brand and I already put them in the garbage.
