The dock does everything it says it can, and the charger puts my Asus Rog Ally into Turbo charging mode, the dock sets it to 25w charging mode while plugged into the dock PD port. I also used the Ethernet port and it worked. 3usb ports is enough for my mouse keyboard and headset, I also have a USB extender that I can plug in to add 6 ports ! This dock really is a game changer in lines of not having to spend all the extra money buying a big tower PC, when I can just bring my few items in my bag to a friend's and be ready to game in about 10 minutes of setup on a monitor or tv ! Good quality, definitely easy to use, and picture quality looked great for me !

Just got it today and have been using it all day! So far the heat level and fan on the steam deck seem normal as if not docked on it. The package always simple and effective. The quality of the dock is awesome, it feels very durable. The connection between dock, deck & monitor is awesome. The speed are good. Overall it’s a great purchase. I’m using my Steam Deck OLED.

I bought this brand over the official Steam Deck dock because I already own some JSAux cables and I was pleased with their quality, and it's 2/3rds the price. About the dock itself: 1. The cables are not braided like my separate JSAux cables, which is a little disappointing. 2. If you ordered the variant that comes with the power supply, it comes with adapters for non-US markets, as well as a 90 degree USB C adapter (you don't need it to plug your Steam Deck in while using this dock). 3. The dock itself is aluminum, small, and overall a good build quality. I can simply put it in my aftermarket Steam Deck carrying case along with the dock charger. 4. The audio randomly cuts out for a split second sometimes, not really sure why. The effect is like when you change TV inputs and the sound takes a second or two to resume. It's not frequent but it happens and is annoying. I've used the same HDMI cable with my Switch and had no issues. I've also used bluetooth headphones with my Steam Deck and had no audio issues, so maybe it's this dock's USB-C to HDMI conversion causing it. If you're considering using a dock with your Steam Deck, consider the following: 1. Your Steam Deck games will all default to 1280x720 and you can't set your resolution higher in-game. This is due to the Steam Deck itself and not this dock. You'll have to go to properties of your game in Steam and change its resolution from "Default" to whatever TV or monitor you have your dock hooked up to in order to get your desired resolution. 2. If you restart your Steam Deck while it's connected to the dock, you will need to disconnect and re-connect it to the dock to get picture once it reboots. 3. If the game you're playing doesn't play nice with controllers when it starts, I'd suggest booting the game and connecting your controller how you want before hooking up to the dock.

ordered this product about 2 months ago, i think its perfect, its compact, the materials are high quality, giving you a sleek addition to your gaming set up or desktop, it doesnt seem to hold heat projected from my steam deck, i think its the perfect bang for your buck while looking to build a set up for a steam deck or other hand held gaming pc set up!

I bought this dock as my day 1 solution based on the price and good reviews. It has nice build quality, holds the deck at a nice angle* and having the ethernet port solves all game download issues. The issues I am experiencing are minor and easily resolvable. The biggest issue I ran into was that the Deck was overheating after an extended gaming session. As you can see in the picture I moved the Deck so that the vents are no longer (partially) blocked by the rear portion of the stand. More usb ports and a second HDMI/DP port would be great, but it does work great with the available ports (i am connected to a gaming monitor, keyboard, mouse, controller and hardwired into the router). The display can get a bit shaky and go black (like it is transitioning back the Deck display, but it does not activate). I found that recycling the power on the dock resolves the issues. Otherwise, no real complaints as there are resolutions to all of my issues. *have only played it once not connected to a monitor.
