This product is full adhesive and sticks snuggly to the car. It is easy to remove.I’ve used others before that only had two adhesive strips and lost them every time I went for a drive.Good value for money.

With something so simplistic and effective I had a look to see why these could be given low ratings. I try to be realistic when reading and submitting reviews and take into account that, as with any product, there will always be a small number that unintentionally contain flaws in quality.My advice on these would be if you do not receive a set of plates with a strong magnetic grip that’s still easy to remove (considering the low price also) then you’ve been incredibly unlucky and would urge you to just ask for a replacement. The odds will be stacked massively in your favour that the next set will be of the high standard you’re looking for.Driven so far at 40mph in the wind and rain (that’s Scotland for you!) after the plates had been attached to an already wet car and they’ve not budged. Have tried other magnetic plates that were less effective due to it just being 2 magnetic strips at the top and bottom which allowed the wind to flow underneath and lift them. Seeing this as essentially being a design flaw that would just cause repeat occurrence, I didn’t take my own advice in asking for a replacement and instead sought out these fully magnetic ones.I’d buy these again for when my youngest starts to drive in 4 years but I’m pretty confident I’ll still have these! Might have sold him to the circus by then though so will have these to sell on if anyone’s interested?Wow. Lockdown REALLY gives you time to think about stuff eh?I’m off to count how many grains of rice I can fit into a pint glass.....

No one has made an easy-remove and replace solution for cars made of alloy or low steel content (except for suckers and these suck!)These barely stay on. A licensed driver with L plates is not legal so I so need quick removal if driving this car without the learner.Tip: Buy 2 pairs of magnetic plates and stick one pair to the car face down, magnetic side outwards using rubbery contact glue (this can be rolled off with your thumb when no longer needed). Avoid getting glue on the red 'L' paint as it dissolves. If your car is expensive/newish you may want to test removing the glue on an inconspicuous place first.Once the 1st pair is fixed, the 2nd pair will stick well to these and can be removed easily once you get your finger in-between the 2 plates.

Very pleased with these L plates. The last set we purchased peeled off at around 20mph, but not these.They're durable and the magnetic surface keeps them place, they don't move at any speed. I can't see us needing another set.Highly recommended and great value.

Great for using when needed without having a car permanently labelled as learning. Holds well and in all weather conditions. Suggest to clean up a little the placement area in case of frost, ice on the body.

the sign has stayed on the back of my car but the front of my car wasn't metal apparently, so had to buy a sticky one for the inside my windscreen else where. Should the front one have worked it would of been a top buy ;).

I went through a couple of different products that had magnetic strips rather than fully magnetic like these. They fell off which meant i was technically driving illegally. The rear of my car (Ford Fiesta) has a lot of plastic, since these plates have plenty of magnetic surface I was able to keep it attached.They are very easy to put on and take off but stay attached in high winds & rain. Really no negatives.
