Well worth the money, decent quality
Awesome Heater. Running in my garage and keeps the chill off. I'd upgrade the fuel filter and piping that comes with it (but you'd need to do that with any model you buy). Works fantastically well and can pump out a lot of heat.

Great diesel heater.
This heater is actually very impressive, very easy to install and it’s super efficient heating up my small workshop. Just make sure that the exhaust is routed where it can’t be touched because it gets very hot, I put heat bandage and a steel cover over mine. Additionally make sure the exhaust is away from any windows or ventilation air bricks because the fumes are quite strong. One excellent device that I would highly recommend.

Excellent Value but Needs Modifying
This Diesel heater is currently at a superb price as suppliers try to maintain sales volumes as spring approaches. It will perform flawlessly and provide cheap heat but certain modifications are necessary, one is mandatory for safety in my view.Modifications needed:1) Change the cheap green "fuel" pipe and fit upgraded quality nylon rigid hose. See my image where original hose is already kinked and restricted right from factory.2) Upgrade the fuel filter and place it the correct way around in the line from the tank to the pump to protect both pump and heater from debris.3) fit quality hose clamps to all fuel joints to prevent internal fuel leakage4) Upgrade the cheap hose clamp on the exhaust manifold as the one supplied cannot be tightened sufficiently to prevent toxic gas leaks5) Upgrade the air circulation hose to long aluminium type as that supplied is not long enough for safe operation6) the feet risers are a superb additional ugrade from previous models but are extremely difficult to install and it is recommended you use small G-cramps evenly applying pressure until they pop in placeIt should be noted that this stand-alone unit MUST be placed outside the living area being heated with only the circulation hose entering that area. After all these modifications are made, the unit works flawlessly. Heating even relatively large areas quickly is achievable and the Bluetooth control via the excellent Android App is clear and understandable. If HCalory simply made these basic modifications to their design this heater would receive 5* from me as they are without doubt the best of the cheaper heaters out on the market today in all other respects.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this model if these simple modifications are made which costs very little extra to do.Hopefully they will take these constructive comments on-board and eventually the customer would receive a brilliant heater which is ready to go out of the box and would give performance free of error codes for a very long time.

Used for heating and cooling a tent
The media could not be loaded. Ok, so this is being used to heat a tent... all I can say is it December and I can be in the tent in a t-shirt (I dont) on the number 2 setting (at night). During the day, number one keeps the chill off.Bluetooth app is great. I keep this connected to my 288kwh power bank and it will run for about 2 days ( not nights ). My set-up isn't really recommended, but it works... i use about 2 litres of diesel per day maybe 8hrs use between 1 and 2 setting.NOTE: in order for the Bluetooth to reconnect on the phone, close the app from the background and open, it will reconnect when you open it again. It draws about 120w on startup, once going, draws about 5 w running at 1 then 10w at setting 2. Using the 12v dc output on the powerbank (need a cigarette lighter plug).I don't have secure structure to attach it to so it's outside and blows heat in. Again, it works and I don't have to worry about the exhaust (which by the very nature of it, gets hot).UPDATE (7 Months later) - I now use this as a fan to cool. App has been updated.Advice - ALWAYS use the power off to expel the unburnt fuel, otherwise the system will error and need a power off and on to reset.

Had potential, but unfortunately broke on the second use.
The media could not be loaded. First time i ran the heater it worked great! It was easy to use, and worked well . Second time I ran the heater it started emitting thick black smoke, and very little heat. Shame really, as it should have been a great little unit.

Great heater
Great for warming the garage. The build quality is about standard for these heaters so can’t complain. Quite quiet unless you put it onto a higher setting. Easy to put together and easy to use.Although there is no mention of the app on the seller page it is called Hcalory and gives great additions to the use of the heater. The only thing I had to get to make this work apart from fuel was a car battery but I asked my local mechanic if he had any old ones lying around and he had plenty

8kW? Not convinced!
The kit is good, including everything you could wish for to install. The instructions are OK, with the exception of the user interface, some aspects of which remain a mystery! It's advertised as 5-8kW - however, I think this is just marketing! The heater body is the same size as all the other 5kW heaters (I have 2 others), and when it's running at full tilt, the fuel pump runs at the same speed - so it's more than likely 5kW, not 8kW.The remote control works well. It can either control the fan speed, or the air temperature. I tend to use the fan speed control so I can make it as quiet as possible - then swap to temperature when I'm warm enough.Despite the negative, it's still good value and well constructed. There are no obvious safety issues.I'm running mine from a 300W 12V LED Power supply plugged in to the mains to heat my workshop - you will need something similar if you want to run it at home rather than in a car.My workshop is 20' x 20' but well insulated. The heater is only just enough to keep it warm. If it were maybe half the area (single garage size), I think this heater would be perfect. It's certainly enough for your typical caravan or camper.
