400 Smokin' Bluegrass Mandolin Licks

The book looked very interesting and I was excited to begin using it with the supplied CD but when I tried to play the CD it does not allow any tracks to be repeated and does not allow playlists to be created. When I am working on a track, instead of setting it to repeat I have to click it to stop and then click again to repeat the track which is very disruptive when trying to learn a long lick.

The licks are not that Smokin'. You can download the licks on the internet (link inside the book). I'm going to keep working on the book in hopes it will give me something great.

This is a great resource book for different licks. As a beginner I found some good licks to practice and learn.

Add to your songs, the iceing on the cake with licks that make your music memorable.

This was for my wife, not I. She loved it. It augmented the bluegrass she's been performing.

Our friend loved it and loved the fact there was a cd to listen along to with ease, no need for extra downloads or finding links.

Some great licks here, this will help you're playing ability, these licks will make you more proficient and give you more of a feel for the instrument.

not for beginners, good book
