Horticultural Medium Grade Vermiculite (2 Quart)

I use this in my 10 gallon tank that I keep my feeder crickets in. 1 bag is perfect for a 10 gallon tank and lasts a long time. It helps keep the cricket stink way down and it's super easy to clean in between batches of crickets!

I used this to help loosen up some cheap soil from HD. The lots I have my plants in no longer puddle at the top and I've also noticed I can water them twice as much before any runoff now.

Expensive for the small amount you get. I cannot get out &about to get it elsewhere. Will add to potting soil for African violets and to bark mix for orchids.

The bag was smaller than I expected, but I got over that as soon as I realised that a little bit of this stuff seems to go a long way.I'm not a professional-level gardener, but as far as I can tell it does the job it's made to do, and does it just fine for my purposes.Whenever I put it into a bowl, I've noticed some "rock dust" stays behind once the bowl is empty, but it's not a hassle to clean.
