During my physical, the doctor said I had large ear wax and that I should use Debrox ear wax remover. I tried few times but it didn’t do anything to remove my hard ear wax. Not to mention the liquid was messy and uncomfortable. After living with it for 2 yrs, I decided to give this device a try. I haven’t had my ear wax removed (aside from Qtips after each shower) in all my adult life. It was shocking what I saw with this little device! Not only was I able to see how big the wax blockage actually was, I was able to remove it very easily. I’m right handed so the right ear took about 5 seconds to remove but the left ear took multiple attempts due to the awkwardness of the ear angle. I have hard ear wax so it was easier to take the blue silicone tip off so that I can gently scape the wax against the wall to scoop it out. The extra tool came in handy for my left ear. The video is of the left ear with less build up. I still can’t believe the dark mass came from my right ear!!

Read the instructions to set up the app...it's fairly straightforward and the app walks you through the steps. Once connected, it's essentially ready to use. The device comes with several additional tips and tools to get the best chance of clearing the wax. Many of the tools are metal and I do feel a little nervous about using them in such a sensitive area. To be honest I'll probably stick with the soft tips. This is my reason for four stars...I'd have liked the other tools to be more flexible and of a softer material. It takes a little practice to maneuver the device while watching on the cell phone screen...a test in your spatial reckoning for sure. But it is very useful in honing in on the wax and clearing it confidently once you get the hang of it. I see great use in checking out my kids' ears when they're not feeling well. You can even record and take pictures in the app so it would be easy to send it off to the doctor for a televisit! It charges quickly with the enclosed USB cord. Overall, I'm pleased with it!

This Otoscope with a camera is awsome! I was able to finally find and remove some ear wax that has been bothering me for months. I tried so many times to get it with a q-tip, but it was REALLY stuck to the side of my inner ear. Hurt really bad too, felt like someone was trying to pull my ear drum out. I never realized how sensitive it was inside the ear. This tool works rather well. It helps you to see the deep earwax and get it out all while being able to see the ear drum without rupturing it. The image is very clear, so you can see everything good. The battery life really is about 70 minutes give or take a couple minutes, which is great. It takes time getting use to using it though. I can try to get some earwax that is stuck and want to go foward to get it, except I go the opposite way. So it is like, when using it, up is down and left is right and vice versa. You will know it when the battery is about to go dead because the light in your ear goes way dimmer and it gets grainy on your screen. I have never had any issues with connection(I have an android) so setup is very easy and painless. So, if you are like me and have overproduction of earwax, this is the tool you need. Makes your ears feel really clean and sound is better.
