When my 35 years old lamp fixture failed it was time to get a new one. We looked at the models at the box stores and did not like what we saw. This fixture fulfilled all of the parameters of our search. This fixture seem to be well made and the parts fit nicely. No jiggling any of the parts to get them to fit. Access to the inside of the fixture is done from the top. Remove the two Phillips screws and you now have access to the lamp socket. We opted for a vintage looking Edison LED strand light bulb and there is plenty of room for this bulb. I installed a short "lamp extender" into the socket to help center the lamp.The fixture is secured to a standard 3" diameter (O.D.) tube using small sheet metal screws. This fixture is being installed on the 84" tall pole that you can order separately. If using the pole option be sure to get a heavy duty mount as the mount sold in most of the box stores are far too lightweight to hold the fixture and pole securely.I am unsure of the durability but again, the parts fit well and it looks like it is sealed against weather and insects. It was a bit pricey but the fixture was rather appealing to us so we bought it. I took off one star due to the price. If this fixture lasts another 35 years I will be very happy!

I had an electrician install, which made it easy. Been installed for about a year and works great. I did choose to frost the glass myself since I like muted light better, rather than seeing the lightbulbs through the glass (the glass is very clear). It works well, no complaints.

Ours is a 110 year old forest cabin made of stone... this light has the right Arts and Crafts look while still providing bright, brilliant front porch illumination.

We are so pleased with this chandelier. We just built a portico on the front of our home and this chandelier was just perfect. It is made well and is the same brand as our side door lights. We highly recommend this chandelier.

These lights are absolutely beautiful. The picture does it no justice near the quality they are. I have gotten so many compliments on this product. I would certainly purchase these again if I was remodeling or building.

LOVE this light. Really pretty and puts off bright light. Changing the bulb is a bit of a pain though.
