I am working through this book. I'm a beginner, but the book is full of ideas and motivates folks who want to really get in touch with working with how this natural element can produce hours of pleasure.

If you are a beginner or intermediate intarsia woodworker you will love this book. Filled with really nice projects and very helpful explanations on how and what to do. Great "Big Book"

This book has a lot of fun projects in it. The details and instructions are excellent. However, the projects are for the advanced scrollers with time and patience. I would recommend this book for advanced only or buy it with the goal in mind to be that good to do them. Very nice book!

Includes lots of patterns plus must-needed insights and advice from the masters. It is a great place to start if you are new to intarsia and return to as you get practical experience and new questions about technique. Includes information about the pattern-makers and links to their sites if you want to pursue their style and patterns further.

I am a beginner on intarsia and the book is very useful for me. There are a lot of free patterns in the book, and detailed step-by-step pictured intarsia techniques are very good. Buy n Enjoy!

As a new scroll-er this helped me to understand the difference between Intarsia and segmentation. Also there are many projects that are included with the book that I will be undertaking. There are also many tips and resources to help a new scroll-er get started in this interesting and challenging hobby.

I'm a fabricator and am just starting to get in to intarsia. I bought this book and have been very pleased with it. The step by step instructions are great and there are many different patterns and techniques from various artist. I would recommend this book!
