PHILIPS HSP3500/03

I bought this model because of the brand name and the fact that it provides a reading of the air quality (also visually by a coloured ring). In brief, after using it for a week, I have bought another one - so obviously am very pleased with it. Note that others have reviewed this model and warned that one should use manufacturers claim of size of room it can handle very cautiously. I have assumed the model capacity claimed needs to be double the room size - and it works fine, and pretty quickly. The filter needed cleaning in 7 days - it was not really very dusty (I ran it in an airconditioned room), but brushed it down, easy, no problem. Just remember that after cleaning there is a procedure to rest the read out - I forgot and was surprised that it continued to flash that filter cleaning is needed. Quick look at the manual sorted that out!!The pollution read out is a really good feature, it can give you a surprise how high the figure is and is really useful.Addendum:I ran a test keeping the two units side by side (separated by about one meter, with clear space on all four sides of the unit). Glad to report that the read outs showed the same figures plus/minus 2. I did this test as another reviewer had earlier reported the readings of pollution level differed between units, so I wanted to check whether my two units had such a problem.

After researching quite a bit over the internet I decided to order Philips AC3256. I write this review after having used this product for over a month in Bangalore.Pros:1. No ozone emission. I don't know if the ones from honeywell and blueair produce ozone or not, but philips claims that its 100% ozone free. This was one of my key criteria.2. The real time display PM2.5 pollution levels is a useful feature.3. You can buy the replacement filters easily on amazon.4. At high fan speeds, I can really feel the fresh air inside my room.5 .Allergen mode helps especially in bangalore (pollen pollution is high here)6. Almost completely silent when operated at low fan speed.Cons:1. Even in Bangalore - Indira Nagar (relatively less polluted), the PM 2.5 levels do not drop below 30 at night when I run the purifier at low fan speed.2. The coverage area seems to be far lesser than 800+ sq. feet.Overall I am satisfied with its usability in Bangalore. Delhi / NCR / Mumbai could be a different story though.

Great Product. It will cleans the air silently. Always I use it with auto mode. Using it in 25x15 house from past 1year. Needs bit maintainance, It asked me to clean the filters may be at least twice in a year, after cleaning them using vacuum, again started working well.Previously I was taking the inhaler for allergies, now stopped taking it and even tablets. I hope I don't need them anymore. Along with that I'm doing some other things cleaning the room daily, won't allow dust anywhere, washings the bed cloths ones in a week, just keeping room clean and some excersise.Even though the price tag is very high, comparing to it's performance and help. I will recommend it.I hope the review is helpful, happy purchase.

Review of the replacement filter: It lasted only 2 months while the original worked for 1.5 years. Don't buy the replacement filter from here.Review of purifier:Have been using since one month now, I run it in AL mode at night and it has improved the sleep quality for me & my child, both of us had allergic asthmatic attacks during night and difficulty in breathing sometimes but this product has made the nights much better. I bought a higher capacity one to keep it at the center of 2 of my bedroom which are connected by a center door, it works well for both rooms. One thing to note is that u need to have windows closed, if you allow external air come in then the pm count never goes down below 25 (blue color) , I keep the sliding window open by 4 inch only to avoid suffocation and my rooms are quite large in size so at morning the pm count is around 1-2.

Excellent purifier. Bought this one after a lot of research and this was the only good branded one which had the real time pm2.5 reading in addition to the color indicators (which is the only option available in all other good brands). It's also completely ozone free as it uses no ionization and yet is more efficient and effective than the ion based options. Other than those, it's got a sexy design, very portable and services staff was great when enquired about additional filters - which they said would be available on Amazon by end of this month. Filter cost wise it's the most economical . So overall, happy with the purchase and no regrets at all.

The Phillips 3000 series Aerasense is a good product but i was mislead by the area it can cover to function effectively. I was made to understand that it covers a area of 800 Sq. Ft but the fact is it can cover and function well in a area of 325 Sq.ft only. This should be very clearly be conveyed be it on the site or by the supplier or Phillips as has not be done. Otherwise the product is easy to use plug and play and since the time i bought which is about a one and half months has been working decently. I have already had to remove the filter to clean it once. Watch pout for this space as i would come back later with more of my experience.

Just ordered before lockdown and using since 1 year with daily running time of 10hrs...still filters are intact as I service this after every 3 weeks and that could be the reason for machine working perfectly.Only feeling fan motor looks to be slowly working.All other things are perfect.ConsPhilips team will not provide any service as the service guy told us that owner has to do service on his own and philips will only come to piture if any technical issue arises.

Bought this device for my mother who is an asthma patient and has trouble sleeping. Ever since buying it she is able to sleep nice and sound. She has less trouble breathing.The air is cleaner and the effects are noticeable to anyone who enters the room.
