This shelf is perfect for my craft studio. It’s huge and very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and only took about 20 minutes to build before I was piling it full of boxes. There are caps at the bottom which allow for leveling the shelf on uneven floors and protective caps at the top that keep the metal from being exposed. I’m quite happy with this purchase!!

I am very disappointed with these shelves. I just received my replacement for the first ones I purchased. The first one was bent so far sideways that none of the holes could line up. They were all visibly crooked. This second one is a little bit more square (a little bit), but two of the 4 shelves are still messed up. Lots of the cross members are bent as well. I’m now debating whether or not to return these as well. The shelves are big, which is why I ordered them, but think about how fun they are to try load back in your vehicle to get them to a local UPS store. And on top of that, you need to remember the box because UPS will charge you for a box if you don’t bring the beat up one that it came in. I feel like this company is just trying to sell off the boxes on Amazon which fell out of a truck or something. Very disappointing.

Our first one arrived dented, which was not the manufacturer's fault so no dings on the review there, but it is in your best interest to inspect this item thoroughly before accepting it (hard to do, I know) as returns are a pain - it's 75 lb and about 6' or whatever the length is...so be prepared, and returns take a while especially now.That being said, the second has several spots where the fine shelf mesh welds are broken from the support spine in the middle. This isn't a show stopper but it's annoying and makes noise if you place things on/off it. in addition the top smooth caps came broken (haven't contacted them for replacements yet).So for the money - it's ok but watch for defects.

I agree with other reviewers that the packaging was flimsy. I also noticed some of the wires were kinked. Since I purchased these shelves to use as utility shelving in my basement, I did not feel these issues warranted returning the item or complaining. The shelves as a whole were still straight and I received all the parts. I ordered two and they were shipped from different warehouses. One looked like it had been opened and was a return. Zip ties were cut and the black clips were all over the place. I'm surprised none of them were broken! The second shelf I received had everything wrapped in plastic. Despite the better packaging, the product itself broke through the box.The reason for the 3 star review is the inconsistency in the product. For one shelf, the support rods screwed in so there was no seam. You couldn't even tell there were 2 rods. For the second shelf, the connecting hardware was a little different and so there is a gap where the rods join. It doesn't seem to affect the function, but I'm not putting really heavy items on these shelves. Another issue is the heights are different, and it has nothing to do w/the adjustable feet! One shelf is 71" tall and the other shelf is 75" tall! I bought these shelves for the basement, so it's not such a big deal to me cosmetically, but it created an issue where I had to tilt the shelf, shimmy it under a pipe, and have the top rods straddle the pipe.Overall, I don't regret purchasing the shelves. The shelves are comparatively priced low for the size, and they are fulfilling their function. If you are purchasing to use in a more public area, I would stick to buying locally so potential issues can be resolved more easily. I did not have the hauling capacity or strength to purchase similar shelves locally, so having them delivered via Amazon was my best option. I opened the boxes in my garage and carried the pieces in separately.

Super steady and does the job. I built in with another person and took about 30 minutes to unbox, assemble and throw away/recycle the box and plastic. Highly recommended for those who need to store a lot of items.

I was getting a little annoyed of my lack of organization in my garage so I started browsing storage options. I saw this and was sold. I felt like an ant hauling a caterpillar getting it down to my garage from my second level apt (a bit heavy). I assembled it with no help so I'd say the assembly was a breeze. I got all of my items on it that were in my garage besides my bike so I am completely satisfied. Glad I invested in this!

Having bought similar shelves in the past, this one took less than 10 minutes to put together. This is similar in depth as the 48" shelves, and doesn't stick out like the 24" deep ones. Worked perfect in the corner, as I had 6 feet left and didn't want to waste 2 feet with a 48" shelf. Plus, the bottom of each leg has an adjustable foot, so if your floor is a little uneven, or, you want the shelf to lean slightly back against wall, these will do the trick. I would definitely buy another one should I need it.

First off, know that this is a very sturdy product made of solid metal shelving and legs. At a weight capacity of 600 pounds per shelf, there is no doubt this shelving unit is built for even the heaviest of jobs. Shipping was speedy, and assembly was easy. No tools necessary to put this bad boy together, and assembly could take as little as 25 minutes if you are confident in your shelf height positioning. As the self height is adjustable, if takes time to set the height, then undo and reset the height if you want to adjust your original positioning. The instructions recommend the top shelf be set to the highest level, however, I put the top shelf down about 10 inches and experienced no structural issues. A fantastic shelving unit that's not an eyesore. Very please with this purchase!
