(Pack of 4 3AA 4.5V Battery Holder with Switch, 3X 1.5V AA Battery Holder with Leads and Switch

Ordered this 4-pack of battery holders for a whiskey smoker project, and they ended up being exactly what I needed. The built-in switch is the biggest advantage. It makes controlling power simple without having to add extra components, which is perfect for small DIY builds. After wiring everything up, it worked right away with no issues. The holders feel solid for the price. The springs have good tension, batteries stay seated, and the wiring is secure. After a few uses, I didn’t notice any loose connections or power drop, which is always a concern with budget components. One thing I appreciated after working with them is how easy they are to integrate. The leads are long enough to work with, and the compact size makes them easy to fit into tighter builds. Compared to other battery holders I’ve used, these feel more complete because of the switch—less modification needed to get up and running. Only small note: the plastic housing isn’t heavy-duty, so I wouldn’t use these in something that’s going to take a lot of abuse. For controlled projects, though, they’re more than sufficient. For the price, this is a great value. Getting four holders with switches makes it easy to build multiple projects or keep spares on hand. If you’re doing DIY electronics or small builds like a smoker setup, these are a simple, reliable option that saves time and effort.

I needed to power some small LED light strings. The button cells that came with the cork lights were not cutting it. These fit the bill and they have a built in switch. The cover snaps in place and has an optional retaining screw.

Received in brand new perfect condition. I’ve been using this style of battery holders for about five years now. And these are no different then being great for my projects. Theses work perfect. Highly recommend them.

Great for prototyping. Good fit with decent wiring. Holds lithiums very well.

Easy to use and they work consistently! Screw on lid to avoid batteries sliding out is a good idea! These work flawlessly and I appreciate the recessed on/off switch!

They're OK. Covers are difficult to remove. The switch is fiddly. The wires could be better. But, for quick and dirty power... such as for breadboard prototyping, they're good. in that use case, the switch is a nice to have. IF You're considering buying these as a CMOS or Clock battery replacement for retro computers... don't. There are much better solutions out there. The switch is a good idea for storage of these machines, but even then - you've not got 3 times the chance of a random battery leak. NOT GOOD. And honestly, they're entirly too large to fit comfortably in most cases, where they're out of the way. Like I said, unless you specifically need /this style/ of battery holder, you'd be better off finding something else.

There was once a Halloween purse that blinked with all manner of lights so that ghosts, ghouls, and goblins appeared in different lights while the purse was carried about! This provided sheer joy and excitement for some... but then the battery holder switch broke. Our role in this affair was to fix or replace the broken 4.5 volt battery holder that held the three AA batteries, so we ordered the Lampvpath battery holders that were the exact duplicate of the one used to light the lights in the purse. A couple of stripped wires and some electrical solder later (with hot melt glue used as insulation on the soldered connections), and the purse is once again spreading Halloween excitement, or screams. The 4.5 volt AA battery holders are well made with enough length of thin (20 gauge?) wire to provide ample length for soldering connections. The on/off switch is standard and also is solid and works well. These are handy replacements for either old battery holders or for new uses.

I got the 3AA-4PC to use as electronic project boxes, not what it was designed for. I love that they come with a switch. After gutting I can hot glue the switch back into place and use it in my project, so cool. I plan on using them for a Li-ion battery and bluetooth/amp module so all the plastic bits inside gotta go. Fully gutted, the interior dimensions are 62mmX44mmX15mm perfect for an Adafruit 1500mAh battery. I used a dremel and heat/screwdriver. Had to do it because there are no blank project boxes this small for flat Li-ion battery project boxes, they just don't exist. Ugh I need a 3D printer. This fit the dimension I needed for a project box just right. Very happy with them!

It is value of money. Wires are very thin.

Works OK. Shipping a little slow

I had a battery lit garland and wreath where the battery pack had eroded even though we had removed the batteries. This set of four was inexpensive. Easy to replace the other batter packs and we still have two left for the future. Much cheaper than replacing the wreath and garland.
