The gel is clear...excellent products...stops that cold sore as soon as you put it on.

Q: Can I apply on lie bump?

You could try...I guess dry the bumps a little and apply Zilactin which as it dries will cover the bumps like a bandage to prevent further friction that could irritate. We have always used Zilactin for the fever/cold sores...we apply it as soon as we feel a sore coming on...dries clear and it stops the sores further development painlessly. But also for lie bumps rinsing mouth with warm/salt water is helpful.
